I liked this guy since last year, when he wasn't even close to being popular. We were friends but now that he's popular it's harder to talk to him! How do I deal?

Hey girly! Teenage years can be hard because social status’ change and people think that it should change how they act and who they hang out with. Try chatting him up online or find him when he is walking alone from school. By himself he doesn’t have his crew to dictate him and he can make him own decisions.

When people suddenly become popular they don’t know how to deal and think that it is okay to only talk to their new friends, and they forget about their old ones. Remind him how close you two were and build that friendship back up before you move beyond that. If he still seems to blow you off then maybe he has changed, and not for the better

Okay so I have liked this guy from the beginning of the year but finally I am able to talk to him and he talks to me but there is this other my friend who talks to him to and vice versa. the problem is he read a note that we wrote about him, but it wasn't that bad. Anyways he read looked at my friend and dash away when the bell rang. was he sad to fine out that my friend had a BF or is he upset that I don't like or what??? P.S. I really like him!

Hey girl,

Unless one of you talks to him, there's no real way to tell what upset him -- he might have just been embarrassed to find out that you were talking about him. Give him a couple of days and then try talking to him casually and see what he says!
