How to talk to the popular cutie



I liked this guy since last year, when he wasn't even close to being popular. We were friends but now that he's popular it's harder to talk to him! How do I deal?


Hey girly! Teenage years can be hard because social status’ change and people think that it should change how they act and who they hang out with. Try chatting him up online or find him when he is walking alone from school. By himself he doesn’t have his crew to dictate him and he can make him own decisions.


When people suddenly become popular they don’t know how to deal and think that it is okay to only talk to their new friends, and they forget about their old ones. Remind him how close you two were and build that friendship back up before you move beyond that. If he still seems to blow you off then maybe he has changed, and not for the better

There's this guy,who's actually my crush,that likes me. I catch him looking at me a lot,he's super shy around me,laughs at my jokes,and I over-heard him talking to his friends saying my hair smells like bubblegum. But here's the thing,he's a shy guy and I'm not really a shy girl so I don't want to intimidate him but I want to ask him out. Or at least for his number...any tips?? Thanks so much Smile




Hey girl,

Instead of asking him out right away, try easing into it so you don't freak him out. Since he's shy, you wanna go slow! Talk to him in person and get to know him a little better. Be patient and give this some time. Then, take the next step by chatting online or adding him on Facebook. Then, after some time passes, you could ask him for his number (or get it from a friend). You get the idea. Let everything happen naturally and pay attention to how he responds to you - if he feels uncomfy, be more friendly and less flirty. If he seems into it, work those flirting moves! Smile

I really need help. Lately i've been feeling super depressed & unhappy. I feel like all my friends would rather hang out with our other friends than me. My mom & everyone in my family hates me & my mom doesnt trust me anymore so my parents are super strict on me. & the worst part is i dated the guy i really really liked & then he broke up with me(i still like him) & like 4 days after he broke up with me he got with another chick & i see them 2gether alot & it makes me really upset i want him back so bad. I often feel like going to sleep and never waking up or dieing. I dont know what do with my life cause i hate it soo much. Plz help me!! Cry on friday in the middle of class i started crying!

It's totally normal to go through rough patches in life. But dying is so permanent - life gets BETTER and you want to be around to see it! Since you're feeling unhappy about things right now, the first step is to talk to someone about this. I know you might not believe it, but your parents wouldn't be so strict if they hated you - if they did hate you, they wouldn't care what you did. They care and, if you sat down with them to talk seriously about how you're feeling without getting angry or defensive towards them, they would listen. If you don't feel comfy with that, talk to a school counselor or trusted teacher. The important thing is that you DON'T hold this stuff inside - it'll grow bigger and bigger if you don't let it out. 




And honestly girl, I know breakups are hard but a guy who broke your heart is NOT worth all the tears. It's hard to see right now, but you deserve someone who will be there for you all the time. If he left you, he's not the right one. Someday, a guy will be with you and will think this one was CRAZY to let you go <3

Boys have pimples too, ya know! They're totally annoying and I've been embarrassed by some of mine too, but the truth is there isn't much we can do. Try not to worry! Just wash your face once a day with a good gentle cleanser, try not to touch it too often so you don't transfer oils from your hands, and carry a little tube of concealer in your purse for quick touchups on the go Smile And relax!
