How to talk to the popular cutie



I liked this guy since last year, when he wasn't even close to being popular. We were friends but now that he's popular it's harder to talk to him! How do I deal?


Hey girly! Teenage years can be hard because social status’ change and people think that it should change how they act and who they hang out with. Try chatting him up online or find him when he is walking alone from school. By himself he doesn’t have his crew to dictate him and he can make him own decisions.


When people suddenly become popular they don’t know how to deal and think that it is okay to only talk to their new friends, and they forget about their old ones. Remind him how close you two were and build that friendship back up before you move beyond that. If he still seems to blow you off then maybe he has changed, and not for the better

sorry i leave alot of this stuff. okay, i dont want to sound desperate or anything but i really want a bf. ive been crushing on this guy since the beginig of the year and only one other person knows(just recently told her)he used to seem really interested in me but ever since i told my friend, hes been acting different around me.she swears she didnt tell. ive been getting really mixed signals. how do i know if he is interested in me or not and if he is tell him? i want to let him know how i feel but the problem is, its my best friends twin brother and im afraid she will totally freak. please help!

No worries, that's what we're here for Smile As for this issue, try talking to him a little more. Don't dwell on the whole "Does he know? Does he know?" thing because we gotta trust your bestie when she says she didn't tell - just get to know him better as friends and keep things casual so he doesn't feel awkward. Let him grow more comfy around you and try to figure out those signals. Over time, you can sense whether you should spill the beans or give it more time Smile

My crush knows I like him so it's really awkward to talk to him.
My bgf, who is one of his good friends told him he should ask me out, and the rest of their friends agreed. They told me he didn't object at all and didn't really say anything. I catch him looking at me occasionally and he looks away when I make eye contact. He says he doesn't like anyone and he only talks to girls when they start the conversation. He said he strongly dislikes me but always kinda blushes and smiles a little. Could he like me? Thanks so much!

It's possible he likes you! Either way though, he might feel awkward because he doesn't know how to act around you after learning "the news." Nothing to worry about just yet Smile Try getting your BGF on board and having him help ya hang out with him more often (in a group, for example), get to know him better, and get chances to flirt. Good advice, I don't like it when 'popular' people are stuck up b/c they think they're better. I don't think popularity should exist b/c it can be bias and hurtful.

Hey girlie,

If you're going out with someone, you should feel comfy talking to him about how you feel. If you're not huge on PDA, tell him! Tell him you really like dating him and think he's awesome, but you're not a huge fan of holding hands/kissing in public. In private, it's a different story...but in public, it just makes you feel a little weird. Be honest and make sure he knows you care about him. He'll understand! Smile As for V-Day, it's tough because he might not get you something in return, but it's the thought that matters. Just try making him some tasty cookies or brownies - that'll put a smile on his face for sure!
