V-Day dates for the timid


 
My friends successfully got me and my best guy friend together on Valentine’s Day. Problem is, my BF and I don’t know where to go from here. We’re both shy. Any ideas?
 
Bill: You have the best of both worlds. Good romantic relationships are made of people who are also best friends. Do fun old-school activities, like bowling or Twister, to help both of you shake the shyness. Shy flies out the window when you have to contort your “left foot green” over his “right hand yellow.”
 
Dave: No need for a grand plan on how things should progress. Just enjoy each other’s company, and let things move along. Setting up expectations about this might lead to disappointment. See each other as often as what works for both of you, and the rest will take care of itself. Besides, things will all come crashing down next Feb. 14 when somebody doesn’t get somebody a special enough V-Day/anniversary gift pressure.

I really like this boy. Him and his best friend are always flirting with me! They'll wink, say hey, and stuff like that. I knew they were just messing around considering they're 2 years older than me..but the boy I like gets super shy just around me. He smiles and stares at me a lot. He never came acrossed me as a super shy guy. Is he just really shy around girls or does he actually like-like me?

As cute as that sounds, the only way to figure out if he likes you as a crush is if he asks you out and says he does. So your best bet would be to talk to him and maybe ask him out yourself. <3

MOD MOD MOD so me and my BGF are valentines like friends well you know what I mean, well i got him a chocolate bar and I made a card and I don't know if he got me anything and I don't know if my gift is too much or too little?? Any advice on how to give It to him? And is my gift not enough or too much?? THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH

So my crush and I sit together at lunch, and it seems like all we ever talk about is sports. We both play basketball and I love sports but I want him to know that I can talk about more than just that. Any suggestions?

Hey girlie!

It can get somewhat uninteresting talking about the same topic with someone. Try straying the conversation to another topic by talking about something else, such as something that happened the day before that you found sort of interesting, whether it was something at home, on tv, in the news or at school. You could also ask what he likes to do in his spare time other than sports and what his fave movies, books, food or music is and talk about those. <3
