Calling
all dancing darlings! A new
drama-filled show will be pirouetting its way onto your TV this
Monday,
Feb. 20,
at
9:30 p.m. ET on
TeenNick—and
this is one show you don’t wanna miss. We’ve re-watched the
Dance
Academy trailer
too many times to count and have marked our calendars for the
premiere.
The show
centers on teens who think about nothing else except becoming amazing
dancers. Fifteen-year-old Tara starts of the series by auditioning
for the National Academy of Dance. Once accepted, she thinks all of
her dreams are about to come true. But when she gets to the school,
she realizes hard work is just the beginning. Besides the intense
dance schedule, handling all the drama with the other dancers may
prove to be the hardest part of the new dance world Tara has just
been thrown into.

With all
the singing shows currently on our TVs, we are so glad to (finally!)
see a scripted show that takes on the world of dance.

The Cuties
What
would a show be without cute boys? Luckily, we won’t have to find
out because this program is FULL of dancing dudes—and they’ve got
adorable accents. Just in the first episode, we are introduced to the
bad boy, the smart boy, oh yea, and the boy everyone loves.

Dancing, Dancing and More Dancing!
We are
bound to see a million amazing routines. Between practices,
performances and people dancing out their feelings, there will be a
ton of great choreography.

The Crazy Relationships
Grab a
group of teens (both boys and girls) and throw them into a dancing
boarding school and you know craziness will come. Best friends—and
enemies—will be made, first loves will be had. The relationships
and drama in this show will never stop.

The Competition
With all
the dancers living and practicing together, tension will definitely
rise. Hey, competing for a chance at your dream is a competition no
one wants to lose…no matter if you might have to beat out some of
your besties while doing it.
