I know how hard this must be, but I don't think it's a good idea to tell him how you really feel! Not only does your crush already have a GF, but she is also your friend! Because he's not available, you have only two options: 1. Find someone else or 2. Wait until they break up. Hope this helps!

I do a lot of dance classes after school so my mum doesn't want me to join anymore classes outside of school, and I just need to think of ways to meet guys. Also, I kinda think I might like on of my best friend's boyfriends! They only just started going out, and I don't want to ruin anything, so I need to get over him somehow! Thank you so much xx

There are tons of ways to meet guys! But you really have to put yourself out there and make yourself available - so sometimes, that means trying new things and yes, joining clubs/classes. If you're already booked, you can still do weekend stuff like joining a youth group or church organization, heading to the mall with friends and scoping out groups of guy friends, doing community service projects with a local soup kitchen/charity organization, working on a school fundraiser or even just going to a sports event at another high school close by. Get out there and don't be shy! Smile




As for your BFF's dude, you gotta let them be. Don't talk about your feelings (even with other friends who swear they won't tell - because you never know) and don't give into them. You can't logically talk yourself out of liking someone, but you can tell yourself it is wrong, unfair to them, and can't happen. So focus your energy on other things like your friends, meeting new guys, your dance classes, your fam, redecorating your room, starting a new workout... anything to take your mind off it <3

Being "pretty" definitely catches a guy's eye, but you know the one thing that will make a guy interested more than anything else? CONFIDENCE. If you're feeling disappointed and upset when guys approach your friends, you'll give off that vibe. And if you looked bummed, you definitely don't give off the confident and up-beat vibes that guys love! Give it a try - try to remind yourself that you have amazing qualities too (both physical, emotional, and talent-related), so you have a lot to offer a BF too. If you're having a tough time convincing yourself, it's ok to fake that confidence until you feel it for real. Hold your head high and challenge yourself to be outgoing - smile, start convos with guys you like, and enjoy it. You just need to find the "right" guy who likes you...and who you also like back! Hey HaNnAh BaNaNa, there are a couple natural ways you can whiten your teeth. Using fruits and veggies will make them whiter. You can try rubbing strawberries across your teeth or smash them up and brush them over your teeth. Taking the inside of an orange peel against your teeth will work too. Hey pinkguitar98, I have to apologize for my responses not showing up. I don't know what's going on. You guys can start meeting up before and after school. Making plans in advance will stop them from falling through. I don't think it will hurt to ask him about the girl. Just be sure you do it in a casual way, that way he won't feel like you're accussing him of something. You could try "Who's that girl you're always with. Are you two friends, she seems cool." Hey Gleek13pgn, I wrote back to you girl but none of my answers are showing. I'm just now realizing. I was in the same sitch too so I know what it feels like. The first thing I did that helped me, was to accept that they are in a relationship. They have some connection, that you and your crush don't, which is okay. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with you, it just means he wasn't the one for you. Once I stopped focusing on how sad I was about them hooking up, I was able to focus on me. By paying attention to me I found some confidence and was able to actually be happy for them. A third thing to remember is that he isn't the only boy out there. There are lots of cuties, you just have to find the one that's for you. It took a few weeks but I found a guy who felt the same way about me as I did him. So know that there is someone out there for you. Hope this helps! Xoxo

my crush finally asked me out on valentine's day, and i said yes. i've liked him for awhile now and i was so happy when he finally asked me out. the problem is, we dont have a single class together! i only get to talk to him in the hallways, at lunch, and when he gets on facebook(which is hardly ever) and we've tried to make plans but they always fall through. there's also this girl who follows him around, and im pretty sure they've been friends for a REALLY long time. but people have told me that my bf and this girl have had sex before and that i should keep my eye on this girl becuz nobody trusts her. how should i handle that? and also how can i talk to him more? and he also calls me cute nicknames, but i dont ever call him anything but his name! any cute names i could call him? thanks!

Instead of asking him what he's planning/asking him out so quickly, try talking to him more than normal! Flirt a little, compliment him, and try to grow closer as friends. You'll show you're interested while also making him more comfy around you <3 If he feels like he might have a shot, he'll probably be more likely to ask ya!

Okay, so I am confused by this. Is it maybe possible you misinterpreted him? Because the way I read it, and I am probably wrong, but it sounds like he didn't want you hearing crap people told you about him because of his rep he already possessed, until you had a chance to know him better, and therefore, was just trying to let you guys get to know one another better before going public. OR, it could be that you were right in dumping him because he was replying people knowing you two where going out would negatively effect his already negative rep.

I'm having a small issue with the guy that I REALLY like. I've liked him for about 6 months now, and he's liked me for about 4. We've been on a few dates, and I really, really like spending time with him. He's so sweet and respectful, and I can talk to him about anything. He's a really funny person, and he takes interest in me and listens to what I say. Sounds perfect, right? Well, the issue is; he's 16 and I'm 14. He just turned 16, and I just turned 14, but it's still a fairly big difference. I'm in 8th grade, and he's in 9th, so it's not like he's a sophomore or junior or anything crazy like that. We've never kissed, but I would in a heartbeat if he made a move.
I really want to have a long-term relationship with him, but I worry that he's too old for me. He's older than my youngest older brother! Is it wrong to date someone that much older than me? Help?

Make a move on him and if he doesn't pull back, then he is deff into you. Don't let the age thing get you down because one grade apart really isn't that big of a deal.

Me and my friend got in a fight last night. All last week and this week since our other friend came back she has been ignoring me, not talking to me and shooting me looks!! And i dont know why!! I was hurt cuz I thought we were really close, well i was obviously wrong. Last night I confronted it on her. I ask why she was doing this and how it made me feel. She turned it back on me by saying I wasnt hanging or talking to her and i said i wasnt hanging out with her cuz she was hanging with a group of girls i dont like and she was ignoring me and so i left to hang out with my other friends. So lately ive been bouncing between groups of friends and im okay with that. But it is still awkward so what should i say to her while not acting like its my fault of that im okay with it now?? Because im still hurt.

Hey girly! Sounds like your friend may just be jealous that you have another group of girls to hang out with. Ask her to come over for a sleepover so the two of you can hang out alone and stay up all night chatting like you used to do. She may just need to be reassured of your friendship before she will feel comfortable around you and your new friends.

Who knows why he's asking for help! He could actually need it, he could be mooching...or he could be looking for a reason to talk to you. Whatever it is, try helping him without giving him the answers. Teach him the logic behind each homework assignment and see if you can work through it together! Then, use that opportunity as a chance to chat about other things. Ask him something like this - "Ok, since I helped you with the homework, you have to do something for me. I'm so looking for new music to listen to, what are your favorite bands?" Then after you investigate them, you have ANOTHER excuse to talk to him - to tell him thanks for the recommendations because you loved them. See where I'm going with this? ;) Be flirty and creative... and you'll totally come up with ways to turn those homework sessions into something more!

My friend called my mom a b***h! Ive been complaing about how unfair she can be sometimes (my mom), and then she called her one, and said that her mom hates my mom, but they've never even met! How should I handle this? She's not my BFF, shes one of my like "minor" friends. She has a really good relationship with her mom but she manipulates her mom, while mine isnt so great. My moms done some things that Im not all too proud of, to say the least. The thing is, the way she sees it if every mom isnt like hers its a bad mom. She also said in a bad way that my mom and I need counseling. But with my friend, if you try and say that somethign was rude, she makes it an all out war on you. She sits next to me in one of my classes, and expects me to run with her in gym. Would giving her the cold shoulder work? If not, is there anything else I can do? Thanks! Laughing

Personally, I'd try telling her something like - "I respect your opinion but my relationship with my mom is personal. You don't know what we talk about and I'd appreciate it if you didn't judge us. I don't judge yours." Giving her the cold shoulder is just playing a game - it won't solve anything and it won't even guarantee she'll notice something is wrong. It's better to tell her you like having her as a friend, but there are some things you'd rather not talk about because they're personal. It's your right to say that! <3

Hey girlie,

A "reputation" is what people think of you - basically, what people say about you, think about you. You can get a reputation for all sorts of things: being a flirt, being an awesome athlete, dating around, being cool. In this article, "reputation" = people think I'm cool. So the guy didn't wanna talk about the relationship because he didn't want people to think he wasn't cool anymore...aka he didn't think the girl was as "cool" as he was. Totally rude <3
