This isn’t the plot of an upcoming Law and Order episode—though, OK, it just might be, now. This is real life. Three 10- and 11-year-olds actually tried to murder their teacher…and they almost got away with it. Sure, they were punished. All three of the students were expelled from school, according to KMPH. But that’s all. They are now attending another public school. And this is the first we’re hearing about it.
Sometimes we read stories so zany they can’t possibly be true. This is one of those stories. While we’ve all had our share of not-so-charitable thoughts toward teachers we didn’t get along with, I’m betting murder never crosses most students’ minds. But in a world where violence is quickly becoming the norm, where bullying and harassment are considered normal rather than objectionable, I think it’s time to wonder what’s happened to society. Are we watching too many explicitly violent movies? Are we too insecure in ourselves? Are we too determined to have our own way, regardless of the consequences?
Let’s all take a moment to think about this sitch, shall we?
OK, now tell us what YOU think. What sort of punishment do you think these three students deserve? Why do you think three tweens would try to take out Teach?

Ok, so my view on this is that like, look so there is a thirteen year old in my grade who got suspended for putting laxatives in someone's drink as a JOKE. These kids were poisoning their teacher, and yeah, they may be kids, but as fifth graders, I assume they had to have known it would kll her, so it would have been a little sad-heartening to not see these kids expelled.they poisoned her, and even the one who knocked the cup over participated in the planning and took part in the doing of this. I hope the teacher is ok!!

Sheesh, I mean, if you're gonna hurt a teacher at least go up to her and yell "WHY ARE YOU SO ________ (Mean/unfair/giving so much hw)?!?!" Where the heck did 5th graders get rat poison anyway?

HAha , Funny How People Don't Look At The Kids side.. Maybe She Was Mean And The Kids Didn't have anyone for them to talk to them Bout it so I Guess They Didn't think Of It As "Murder" They Thought maybe She'd get sick or they thought a Unicorn Might Bring her back to Life or somthing Just Think About it ... What the Kids did was wrong but Guess what Their KIDS K-I-D-S. So My Opinion ...
