5 cute ways to ask him to the dance

 
Bored with the typical “Hey, will you go to the dance with me?” As spring dances are coming around, we’ve got cute new ways to ask that cutie out. Warning: These will make an impression!

 

Bake it

Food is the way to a guy’s heart. Bake him some brownies or cookies, and put your decorating skills to the test. With something like the Cake Mate icing pouches, write one word on each brownie (or cookie!) In the end, when he puts the treats together the message should read “Wanna go to the dance?” Looking to be extra sweet? Get heart cookie cutters to give them some shape and feeling.

 

Treasure it

Have a friend give your guy a clue. Send him to different hotspots you guys have visited, and leave a new clue at each. The last clue should lead him to you at the spot that means the most. While there, give him the last note that asks him to be your date.

 

Balloon it

Stick a note that asks him out inside a balloon. Blow the balloon up, slap a “Pop me!” stickie on it and attach a string. He has a car? Attach it to his door handle. Or tie it to his mailbox. What a surprise!

 

Video it

Get creative and make him a YouTube vid. Show it through flashcards—or clips of messages you wrote in sidewalk chalk. Worried someone else might see it? Make a new account, set the video as private and give him the username and password to watch.

 

Egg it

Who said this egg-celent fun has to stop with Easter? Fill different eggs with candy, but have one contain your special message. Place them in his yard (in a locker) or something feasible where he can find them all. He’ll open each one to a new treat—but, clearly, the best will be your Q.

So, I have the Sadie Hawkins dance coming up at my school and there is this guy. My parents think I should ask him to it. He sits next to me in English and we have had a few conversations. We always look at we each other, sometimes we accidentally look at the same time and give each other awkward looks. Im not sure if he likes me and I am deathly afraid of getting rejected, that's the main reason I'm scared to ask him. But what would be some cute ways to ask him. Not anything original.

Hey girlie, I'm not sure what it is that you want to ask him. If you want to ask him out, you could do something cute like writing on a cake or cupcakes. You could make him a card. Think about things that you're good at and find a way to use that to ask him.

Okay, so my school has a winter dance coming up. There's one guy I really like, but I can't ask him because he's in tenth grade and I'm in eighth, so he's not at my school. My friends and I were discussing a dare where we all have to ask someone to go with us to the dance. There is another guy, he's really sweet and i wouldn't mind going to the dance with him (if he said yes) but I don't like him. Not as anything more than a friend. I've never been on a date before, and I almost feel bad that (should Guy 2 say yes) my first date wouldn't actually be with someone I really liked. Am I overreacting, especially since I don't even know what he'd say? Should I do the dare and ask him anyway? Help! ThanksSmile

Hey sashastar123, yeah I think you should get him something. Maybe you could make him a love coupon book. Grab some construction paper, markers, scissors, and a stapler. Create coupons that are redeemable for something from you. For example, one coupon might get him two kisses, while another gets him a hug. You could make about ten and design each one different. This is really awkward, but I have qs about the same guys as stormynow. If u look a couple posts up you'll c her posts about D and a bass player. First off, I am the singer in the band she mentioned, and not just that but they were thinking of kicking me off. Does this mean their choosing her over me. They are some of the best friends I've ever had, what should I do about that? Also, my former BGF isn't talking to me, an has on multiple occasions lied to me, saying he was goin swimming or something but truthfully kept texting stormynow. Am I really that disrespected by guys? So what if I'm not as pretty as stormynow and the other girls, I used to be friends with them. What happened?!?!???




Hey babe! I don't know what post you're talking about, but if your friends are thinking of ditching you in your band talk to them! Tell them that you don't want to lose them as friends. Make a compromise. If they want someone knew then offer to have two lead singers. That way you both get what you want. Look at The Plain White T's. They started with one lead singer who did all their songs, and they recently have been using another guy. You can both sing and do different songs. Both the lead singers in The Plain White Ts are great and are still part of the band, they have totally different sounds and make the band better. Explain this to your friends, that you can all work together. You should also tell your friends how you feel about their actions. Make sure they know that you feel disrespected by them. Hopefully this will allow them to see how mean and kniving they have been and will respect your more for your honestly. If, however, they still act rude and are insensitive to your feelings, then they are not worth your friendship. I know it's hard, but if they're shallow and not respecting you, they don't deserve to have you in their life. Unfortunately for them they will have lost an amazing friend and person. It's not fair to you that they didn't realize how special you are and how much they take your friendship for granted, but sometimes in life you just have to play to cards you're dealt. It's not always fair or fun, it just is.  They will realize later what could have been, what they lost. Good luck! xoxo

He could be busy or have a family thing to go to, which is why he can't come to formal. He wouldn't wanna ask you if he couldn't go! Instead of asking him to go to the dance, try asking him why he isn't going. Get the scoop on that, then decide what your next move should be. A dance is a great way to break the ice, but it's not the only way! Smile

your culture and religion are surely two very important things, but it shouldn't be all that matters.  Talk to your parents about why you like him--is he caring? ambitious?  a positive person?  I think most of all your parents would want someone who is a good influence and you and someone that is trustworthy.  So make sure that the guy you like has great qualities (or else he isn't worth liking or introducing to your parents)--and let those shine when you tell them about him! MOD hello!! DOES THIS BOY LIKE ME? Everyday he'll flirt with me, but sometimes he's like that to this other girl. however, he told me that he thinks that other girl is legit mean to him, no joke. its like a love-hate relationship between them. when i asked him if i was nice to him, he said i was like a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being meanest). he thinks i'm "really cool" and asked me to lace his shoelaces the same way mine were laced. i playfully asked him the next day who did those "awesome" shoes 4 him he playfully said he did, but then he changed it to sum1 else. when i asked him, "well i'm sure that SHE is a boss", he said, "she is" w/ a grin. i was playing pig w/ these other people he came over and stood next to me and we watched them. later, we played pig w/ others and it can get kind of violent and someone scratched me and it started bleeding. everyone blamed it on him and i knew he didnt do it. he knew he didnt do it 2 but still sincerely apologized. help! thank you!

Okay so my best friend is a guy whose liked me for about a year. Last year he asked me out, I said no and we didn't talk for about a month. I have a crush on him now and we want to move to a relationship but I don't want to loose my best friend if we broke up..help!

It's so unfair. The school I go to, all the guys think I'm a total exclusion (if that's even a real word) but I've been called the outcast and that no one will over like me. I tried wearing makeup but that didn't do anything. But it seems that when the popular boys are separated and end up with me, they seem to be all shy and not the jerks I thought they were. MOD MOD MOD 2 questions: 1)does it mean anything wen a guy gets a "nervous tic" around me?theres a few guys who wen ever i talk or even look at them they do these weird twiches or blinks, like theyre trying to get hair off their face or something is in their eyes(they dont seem to do it while they talk to other girls, or on a daily bases. jst around me).they dont seem to give off a nervous vibe, but im jst intrested in noing if it means anything Smile 2)thre r a few guys (including the ones who have a "tic") who wen i talk to them they r always lifting.tilting their heads wen they talk to me. they also constantly fix their hair/clothes. does this also mean anything?? thnxx <3

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I like a guy rite i haven't known him 4 that long but i rlly like him idk if he likes me well his friends and my friends are good friends and every1 says he likes me and that we r a good couple idk i'll tell u some examples:


1. he always comes over and says hi 2 me he doesn't care who he's w/.


2. On thurs he was skipping in to art class and i needed to talk to the the teacher he was saying hi to every1 and he's goofing off but rite when i turn around he stops skipping and returns back 2 normal.


3. On fri. i had gum and he asked if he cood haf some i said no ( as a joke) and i walk away. he like grabs my hand and yanks me back like he doesn't want me to leave.


What do u think does he like me or what shood i do next?

Okay, so my friend did this. Find a heart container, and place water in it. Dye the water red. Wrap a piece of clear wrap around a piece of paper, and put it in the water. Give it to your crush and tell him to melt it. Once he melts it, he'll grab the paper and it will say, "Now that you've melted my heart, will you go to the dance with me?" It's so sweet, and he's sure to say yes!

So I'm 15, and I've never had a boyfriend, kiss, date, or anything beyond a good guy friend. I could just blame it on all guys and say it's their fault, but to be honest, I've never been the kind of person to let my guard down. I don't really get that close to people and I'm a little shy. Try reminding yourself of all of your strengths. You say you're well-rounded, which is great! That means you'll have lots to offer a guy - lots to talk about, lots to teach him, and lots of interest learning about him. The hardest part will be opening up around them and trusting that they won't necessarily hurt you. Try talking to a guy one-on-one or in a smaller group to be more confident, getting to know them past surface level so you can trust them better, and remind yourself that you don't have to rush into anything. Just try to stay open-minded to your options and see where life takes you! It can be an exciting ride if you take a deep breath and make sure your anxiety doesn't keep you from something really wonderful <3

Try the baking thing, I think most guys love treats and I think he would get the idea that you are interested. I have done that with guys and it has always worked out for me.

If you know you are strong, then be confident in it.  It doesn't really matter what they say or see if it's not true.  In the end you know that you work SO hard and you have a strong body, so be proud of your body and your hard work. Continue doing your thing, and your diligence will pay off.  Your body is still in the process of growing so be glad that you are taking good care of it!

wow ppl are stupid today. they put something on the news about a 12 pound baby that was 23.5 inches long and was actually born on it's due date. but my baby sister was born 2 months BEFORE her due date and weighed 12.5 pounds and was an inch bigger. they didnt make a big deal about her! they would have if she was born on her due date though because if the docs waited til her due date she could have been as big as 25 pounds!!! heaviest baby on record as big as a average 1 year old when the other baby was the size of the average 4 year old

I just went vegetarian. I don't know how to get my mom to cook stuff with out meat. I am very picky to start with so there were very few meats that I liked to start with. Do you have any websites with good vegetarian recipes? I am also trying to cut out products that are tested on animals. I found E.L.F. make up which I love cause they don't test on animals, but I don't know what shampoo and conditioner and hair brands don't test on animals. Any ideas?
