How To: DIY beach spray



Tousled tresses and relaxed waves: Those are the two things that come to mind when we think of beach hair. To get locks like that, we put together a list of essentials to create an easy beach spray you can whip up and spritz on in a jiffy—whether you’re headed to the shore or not!


What you’ll need:

An empty spray bottle

1 tsp. sea salt

8 oz. water

3-6 drops of scented oil (try lavender, rose, tea tree oil)


1. In the spray bottle, add the water and stir in sea salt until dissolved.

2. The salt can dehydrate your tresses, so blend in some essential oil in your fave scent to keep ‘em moisturized and soft.

3. Shake, spritz on dry mane, scrunch to give more oomph and blow-dry on low to set.

Hint: Wanna really sparkle? Add a pinch of fine glitter to your spray for extra wow-factor.

what can i substitute in instead of scented oil?

 

Hey! I'm not sure, I don't want to recommend something that might irritate your skin, so it's probably best to stick to this recipe

Before you read this, I want you to know that I'm sincerely ashamed. I'm shaking as I write it.


 

 You don't have to feel gross or ashamed. This is just something that happened and you don't need to feel like a bad person. If it made you feel bad, just don't do it again. And you don't need to tell your parents or anyone for that matter. It is ok to be curious, you googled, you saw, you were not interested. That's fine. Just calm down a bit and don't feel so awful.
