Why he picked your friend over you


 
I really like this guy. I don’t know him well because I’m too scared to talk to him. We’ve caught each other’s glances, and his friends talk to me about him a lot. Just when I was sure he’d ask me out, he asked one of my best friends! I’ve never seen him look at her like he looks at me.
 
Dave: Regardless of signals you picked up from him or his buds, you two clearly weren’t connecting in conversation so it’s understandable he went another route. Unless you can score some chat time, looks like he’ll be talking up your pal.
 
Bill: Don’t you hate it when you think someone’s waving at you, but he’s really waving at the person behind you? Kind of embarrassing when you wave back. Any chance that’s what was going on? If not, maybe he took your shyness as rejection. Try to get to know him better and see what happens.

If you think he likes you and you like him too, it sounds like you have nothing to lose if you go for it! Keep talking to him more and see what happens, and tell him you like him if you're feeling brave! Good luck!

I had the exact same ting happen. I've liked this guy for3 years, and he turns sround and now he's dating on e of my best friends, why suddenly just turned against us. How do I cope?

It can be super hard to deal when a boy doesn't feel the same way about you as you do about him, but the good news is that you're young and still have plenty more guys to meet down the road! For now, focus on positive things, like clubs and spending time with your pals. You can also try scoping out some new cuties at school or in your neighborhood. If you distract yourself by having fun without him, you'll forget about why you even liked him in the first place.

im in seventh grade and my crush is in eighth. I have known him for 9 years. He is really nice and talks to me a lot. He isnt afraid to come up to me like some guys are, we have always been friends but im starting to like him more than a friend. Some of classes where its seventh and eighth we have together i catch him looking at me. When he sees me he calls me babe and says good bye to me if i run into him when leaving. Is he just be friendly and nice to me or does he like me?

My friend moved to Alaska a few months ago. Her and her boyfriend at the time had a mutual break up. She still occasionally comes to visit. A month ago, I started going out with her ex, and even though she doesn't have feelings for him, I'm scared that in her next visit, he'll take one look at her BEAUTIFUL face and realize what he's missing. It's really hard to date someone new while you know ALL about their past relationships. It's tempting to ask yourself, "Do I match up?", compare yourself to their ex GFs, and psych yourself out. But you can't let yourself do that! You gotta trust him and enjoy the relationship you've got. If he leaves you because he's tempted by her, he is NOT the good guy you thought he was! But chances are, he's loyal and totally into you. He made the choice to date you - so feel confident with yourself, happy in your relationship, and don't let those doubts get the best of you <3

While feeling like there's no competition when it comes to crushes is what everyone likes, sometimes your crushes crush on someone else. And the best thing to do is move on and crush on someone that likes you back. Also keep in mind that what some may consider being friendly, others may see it as flirting, so your BFF and your crush may be just being friendly with one another and him with you. If you want to find out if he likes you, try either asking him out or dropping hints that you'd like to go out with him. If he responds then you'll know he likes you. <3
