I really like this guy. I don’t know him well because I’m too scared to talk to him. We’ve caught each other’s glances, and his friends talk to me about him a lot. Just when I was sure he’d ask me out, he asked one of my best friends! I’ve never seen him look at her like he looks at me.

Dave: Regardless of signals you picked up from him or his buds, you two clearly weren’t connecting in conversation so it’s understandable he went another route. Unless you can score some chat time, looks like he’ll be talking up your pal.

Bill: Don’t you hate it when you think someone’s waving at you, but he’s really waving at the person behind you? Kind of embarrassing when you wave back. Any chance that’s what was going on? If not, maybe he took your shyness as rejection. Try to get to know him better and see what happens.

ok, so my boyfriend of one month is a first time dater, meaning im his first gf ever. And hes really nice and everything, but ever since he asked me to kiss him (which i was SO not ready for, and ultimately stammered out an "im not ready for that yet" response) ive been questioning how much i actually like him. I dont even think that i really want to kiss him or anything. Its fun hanging out with him, but he always wants to hold my hand and have his arm around me and stuff (because hes awkward like that) and its setting me off a ittle. I dont think i have the heart to break up with him, but what should i do?
(PS, this might also be caused by the fact that im pretty sure i love my best guy friend)

Oh, this is a tricky one. You must never lead a guy on though, babe. If you're not feeling it anymore, then tell him you're not. Maybe add in that school and your family life has been a bit much for you and you need some time to yourself. Let him down easily, but know that you have to let him down. Please help!! Okay so every year my school does a musical with 7th and 8th grade, and this year we did Peter Pan, and my best friend and I both really wanted it, but I got it. I'm really happy but now she won't talk to me! She doesn't return my texts, and I tried saying hi to her at school but she just ignored me. I'm really upset and I don't know what to do! She didn't even congratulate me! What should I do??

She's definitely got a case of jealousy here. Give it some time for the upset to die down a bit, and in about a week and a half, try to talk it out with her. Jordan S.

Sometimes guys can break up friendships. My advice? Tell your friend how you feel, and don't spout your jealousy. A guy that a last a month or two, is nothing compared to a friend that will last a lifetime.
