I really like this guy. I don’t know him well because I’m too scared to talk to him. We’ve caught each other’s glances, and his friends talk to me about him a lot. Just when I was sure he’d ask me out, he asked one of my best friends! I’ve never seen him look at her like he looks at me.
 
Dave: Regardless of signals you picked up from him or his buds, you two clearly weren’t connecting in conversation so it’s understandable he went another route. Unless you can score some chat time, looks like he’ll be talking up your pal.

Hey chica!

After you tell him how you feel and talking about how he feels, you could mention that your sister is cool with it if you guys date. For pointers on what to say when you express your feelings, you could ask if he likes you a lot and would like to date, etc. Smile

But then I was about to tell her that I liked him and she told him yes. I still like him and I want to tell her but i'm afraid that she will think that i'm a bad friend, but I hate keeping secrets from her. I'm so confused. What should I do?

Are they dating, or is it over? If they're still together, you should probably keep your feelings to yourself to maintain your friendship, but if they're over, there's no harm in asking her if she'd be okay with you liking him!

So, this happened like, a couple of weeks ago. My crush's friend, GF1, asked me if I wanted to see a movie with my crush and my crush turned red and laughed kinda weird. But when I said yeah, he turned even redder.
Then, last week, I asked GF1 who my crush liked, and GF1 said it was me. GF1 asked me if I liked my crush, and I said yeah.
The next day, GF1 told my crush and another guy friend, GF2.
GF2 told me GF1 had no idea who my crush liked and my crush didn't like anyone. But GF1 told me he was sure my crush liked me.
I'm so confused! What do I do?

Hey girl,

Instead of listening to your friends' opinions, why not ask your crush yourself? If they've already talked to him about it, it shouldn't be too awkward, and then at least you'll know what he really thinks!

So 2 years ago me and my crush started dating. We dated until the end of the year and then dumped me for my friend, and they've been dating 2 years now. And all 3 of us were talking, and my friend asked what would be a good song about he and I, and she expected some heartbreak song, but then he said a love song. Dos that mean he secretly likes me still? She would DIE if they ever broke up, so is that the only reason they're still dating? I'm confused! Help!

 

Hey! by itself the song might not mean anything. but if he does still like you he should stop leading your friend on, no matter how much he thinks it would hurt her to break up

It can be super hard to deal when a boy doesn't feel the same way about you as you do about him, but the good news is that you're young and still have plenty more guys to meet down the road! For now, focus on positive things, like clubs and spending time with your pals. You can also try scoping out some new cuties at school or in your neighborhood. If you distract yourself by having fun without him, you'll forget about why you even liked him in the first place.

It's really hard to date someone new while you know ALL about their past relationships. It's tempting to ask yourself, "Do I match up?", compare yourself to their ex GFs, and psych yourself out. But you can't let yourself do that! You gotta trust him and enjoy the relationship you've got. If he leaves you because he's tempted by her, he is NOT the good guy you thought he was! But chances are, he's loyal and totally into you. He made the choice to date you - so feel confident with yourself, happy in your relationship, and don't let those doubts get the best of you <3

While feeling like there's no competition when it comes to crushes is what everyone likes, sometimes your crushes crush on someone else. And the best thing to do is move on and crush on someone that likes you back. Also keep in mind that what some may consider being friendly, others may see it as flirting, so your BFF and your crush may be just being friendly with one another and him with you. If you want to find out if he likes you, try either asking him out or dropping hints that you'd like to go out with him. If he responds then you'll know he likes you. <3

Is it right to be upset at my mom for putting me down at the mercy of her friends, and even random strangers? Because we were at starbucks yesterday, and my mom made the mistake of picking someone else's cup, and she blamed it on me and my BFF being "clueless teenagers", but we're not clueless. We're straight A students. And just tonight, after my volleyball game, my mom was talking with my Bff's mom, and said "Of course I have a headache, and who knows what the girls will do to make it worse." She said it right in front of me, and she says it both times in a joking way, but it's not funny. I pointed it out to my mom a few minutes ago, and now she's on a rampage around the house, screaming at everybody. She can't take critisism, but then she gets mad at me for not telling her why I'm mad, but then she gets mad when she finds out why. What should I do?

ok, so my boyfriend of one month is a first time dater, meaning im his first gf ever. And hes really nice and everything, but ever since he asked me to kiss him (which i was SO not ready for, and ultimately stammered out an "im not ready for that yet" response) ive been questioning how much i actually like him. I dont even think that i really want to kiss him or anything. Its fun hanging out with him, but he always wants to hold my hand and have his arm around me and stuff (because hes awkward like that) and its setting me off a ittle. I dont think i have the heart to break up with him, but what should i do?

Oh, this is a tricky one.  You must never lead a guy on though, babe.  If you're not feeling it anymore, then tell him you're not.  Maybe add in that school and your family life has been a bit much for you and you need some time to yourself.  Let him down easily, but know that you have to let him down.  It's worse to let a guy think all is well than to make him deal with a bit of emotional pain. I'm really happy but now she won't talk to me! She doesn't return my texts, and I tried saying hi to her at school but she just ignored me. I'm really upset and I don't know what to do! She didn't even congratulate me! What should I do??

Sometimes guys can break up friendships. My advice? Tell your friend how you feel, and don't spout your jealousy. A guy that a last a month or two, is nothing compared to a friend that will last a lifetime.
