She can run a music empire, sing her amazing heart out, inspire others, give money to charity…and anything else she sets her mind to. This woman wants to do everything, can do everything, and our bet is that she will do everything.
As the First Lady, Michelle Obama has had to act strong for her husband, you know, the Prez? But the thing is, she’s not acting. Michelle is a mother of both her children and of the entire country. She has come up with her own national programs to get children to eat better and healthier. She has one of the warmest smiles around. But her toughness always shines through.
Humor is strength. Tina knows how to be free, to have fun, and to be able to laugh at herself. A great Saturday Night Live star, an awesome movie career, an author, and an all-around businesswoman. Tina Fey has got it going on because of her strong-will and dedication to being the best she can be.

okay i think it is great to feature women on this day, but it disgusts me on WHY you feature some of these women. I have nothing against them but should we seriously be looking up to someone because they "have strong vocals" or "rock a bikini"? what about the women that are campaining against Kony, or helping starving children, or visiting cancer victims? has our world become so shallow that our new standards for a role model is how good they look at the emmys?

Where is Demi Lovato? She is wayyyy braver and stronger than Michelle Obama. Demi is a great role model not only for me but also for other girls who are struggling or recovering. When I saw the article's title I thought that Demi was definitely going to be in it. I'm not hating on the people in this article. I look up to most of them. I think they are brave but I also think that GL should have included Demi.
