The special follows kids (mostly between 8 and 13 years old) speaking about bullying and how it’s a part of their lives. Alongside these everyday kids, NBA, BMX and NASCAR athletes will be joining in, sharing their occurrences with bullying. Yep, harassment can happen to anyone. Even celebs!
But that’s not all! The film will also provide tips on how to fight against this issue and take a stand. Rosalind Wiseman, a well-known and respected bullying prevention specialist, will even be answering audience questions online at StopBullyingSpeakUp.com leading up to the premiere, during it, and afterwards.
So take advantage of this opportunity and learn all you can about bullying and how to deal with it in your life.
Be sure to catch the premiere of Speak Up on Cartoon Network March 18 at 5:30 pm ET/PT. Then come back and share what you’ve learned.
Will you be tuning in to this special documentary? How has bullying affected your life? Blog about it, babes.
