We’ve all dreamed of being royalty for a day. Or better yet, of being a goddess. A powerful queen, ruler of a kingdom and married to a cute king…sounds like the perfect life, right?
But, eh, not quite. Just ask Kate Winters, the star of
Goddess Interrupted, Aimée Carter’s second novel in The Goddess Test series. Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld. She has a king for a husband, she’s gorgeous and completely immortal—but things aren’t as glamorous as they seem. Her husband, Henry, is kidnapped, a war looms on the horizon that threatens everything. And, oh yeah, there’s also Henry’s first wife, Persephone, to deal with.
