This book kind of reminds me of the iron fey series I just read, which are pretty cliche at times , but I loved them. The first book isn't the best (at least compared to the reviews) but the farther into the series you go the better they get.

I went on a date with my BF of 6 months on Friday. He asked me a couple times to kiss him, but I kept saying no. IDK why, really. I mean, I've kissed him twice before, but I just didn't want to for some odd reason that I really don't know. I called him that night, and he didn't seem mad at all. But what if he is? He was talking a lot on the phone and was saying really nice things about me. Is our relationship over? I really regret not kissing him. Please help. I DO NOT want to loose the best BF I've ever had.

Thanks, I get it now. Two more questions.
1) I'm really pale. In Bobbi Brown makeup I'm "pale yellow" that's one shade away from snowy white. This summer I realllly want to get a tan, but I don't know how to do it without getting burned badly or having skin cancer when i get old.
2) I'm going to middle school next year, anything important I should know so I'm prepared?
Sorry, they're weird questions but I MUST know.

Sometimes you can't avoid getting a tan, so if you're outside a lot this summer and use sunscreen responsibly, you'll see a natural glow on your skin. Whatever you do, don't purposely lay out in the sun all day or in a tanning bed!

2. The biggest tip for middle school is this: it's what you make of it. I've said it before and I'll say it again - if you sit around and wait for middle school to become amazing, you might feel like you're missing out. But if you introduce yourself to new people, work hard in classes, join new clubs and activities, take risks, and stay true to yourself...you'll have an amazing time! Don't forget that it's always ok to ask questions if you're lost/confused, and it's always ok to admit you took on too much if you're having trouble squeezing all your commitments in. It's all about balance - and you'll figure it out once you get there Smile
