POSTED IN puberty, how to talk to parents, dear carol, therapy, advice from Carol Weston
Their is nothing wrong with asking for help. I was having some issues last year and ended up seeing a therapist and she helped me alot. There is no reason to feel dorky going to the counselor. You deserve to be happy!

i used to cry at school all the time when someone made fun of continuously, then i whent to the guidence counsler at my school. she made it stop, and when the bully stopped so did my crying but i sometimes cry to myself quietly when i got a bad grade on my test. but that stopped to because i just write in my diary.

Its ok!!! I sometimes do that, but its only when Im feeling mixed emotions and when I remember memories. Dont be afriad to talk to your councelor unless shes anything like mine... but dont be afraid to do that.. you could also talk to your friends or a good teacher that you feel is close enough to be your friend. Its not an embarrassing thing, its something that if you talk about it, it may stop.
