My boyfriend and I have been going out for a few months. The other day he told me he loves me, and all I said was, “Thanks, that’s sweet.” I just didn’t know how to respond. I really like him, but what should I say back?

It’s a terrible move to tell someone you love him if you’re not feeling it. Even though your conversation was awkward, you were smart not to echo his words and pretend to feel more serious than you actually do. If he says it again, it’s OK to just smile or say, “I care about you too.” Time will tell whether your relationship grows or fizzles so, for now, why rush to label it?

Are the Girls' Life books helpful? I might get some, but I'm not sure...
And theres a second thing. Um... A few months ago, I got some red discharge in my undies, and then a few weeks after that, it happened again. And then on Monday, I got clear and wet discharge, and on Tuesday, I got clear-ish yellow-ish discharge. I have been getting a ton of bad cramps and have been really moody. Do you think that maybe my period might be coming? How should I prepare? What should I keep with me and how should I hide them from other people? How much stuff should I keep with me? Do I need to keep anything with me?
