My best friend told me he had a crush on me. I told him that I felt the same way. After that he started hugging me and he acted as if he wanted to date me, but when I asked him out he said no and now he's ignoring me. What should I think?

He asked me if I would ever date him. I said maybe, the world will never know!! He ignored me for a while & I didnt know why. I found out he got a girlfriend. That pretty much killed me inside. They broke up and he started talking to me again. He got into a few fights at school. I didnt understand why he was doing this. We talked a little and straightened everything out and then we are back to normal. Then I said something I regret saying about not liking one of his friends and he stopped talking to me for a month. I regretted it everyday. Now we are back to normal. After that month, he asked me again "Would you date me?" I am stumped as what to do nowD:

It seems to me like the first problem sprang up when you weren't sure if you'd date him. He tried to start liking some other girl, but when that didn't work out he came back to you.

While it sounds like he may like you, it could also be that he's playing games.

There is this guy who I am pretty sure has a crush on me (he finds me after band, hugs me, and kisses me on my "soft" cheeks snd he said that we should hang out sometime, like at the movies) but I am not sure what to do (since I have never had a BF before.) He had asked me if I had texting on my phone (and I said yes,) so I texted him at my track meet and he only gave one or two word answers (plus, I must not have been texting fast enough because he would resend the texts!) I am not really too sure what to think! I do not know if I like him or not (since he is one of my friends.)

Hey acc.14, just because you guys can't date doesn't mean you two can't get to know each other. Take this time to become his friend. Find out about his likes and dislikes, his interests and his friends, so when you can date you'll be ready. Hope this helps! Xoxo
