Answer: CEO of GirlsGoneSporty Laura Williams says, “My first suggestion is to pack a snack to take with you to school so that you can eat it later in the afternoon when you start to feel hungry. It's so hard once you hit that "starving" mode to make yourself stop eating. You'll be better off to stop it before it starts.”
Oh, and one more thing: “Also, when you first get home, try drinking some water and starting your after-school snack with something like an apple or carrot sticks,” Laura adds. “After you eat that, go outside and take a walk or start your homework. If you distract yourself with something else, you may realize you're not as hungry as you think you are. If, after 30 minutes you're still starving, make yourself half of a turkey sandwich or a bowl of soup to tide you over until dinner.”
Thanks, Laura!

POSTED IN eating, healthy eating 101, how to cut out junk food, snack
MOD When I'm bored, I eat. I wanna stop that bad habit but sometimes it's hard. I do make an effort to eat veggies but I'm very limited because I don't eat fruits. I've tried, but I just find it tastes disgusting and I almost puked once. Please help!!! Thanks
Hey Mimzy0717, find other things to do to occupy your time. Try reorganizing your room, doing your homework, polishing your nails, helping your parents out with chores, anything to that will stop you from being bored. If you have to eat, continue munching on veggies. There are other healthy tasty snacks like smoothies, carrots and salad dressing, trail mix, any kind of nuts, celery and peanut butter. Just experiement with all the veggies. Hope this helps! Xoxo

MOD MOD MOD I'm recovering from bulimia, and I want to eat healthy. How do I incorporate veggies in to my breakfast? Hey babe, You could cut up some peppers, onions, etc. and put them in your eggs when making an omlette. Or snag a few of those veggie juice drinks (or mix them in a juicer at home) Remember that you can always munch on some carrots and ranch or some cucumbers! Jordan S.
