MOD MOD MOD!
Next year I'll be in middle school, and I'm really nervous! There's so many classes and you have to go to each one alone and what if I get lost? I'm really scared because we also have to lock lockers and I have no idea how to use them! And the mean people! My older sis went to the same one I'm going to, and she said the people there are all mean, and they all say bad words, and are super judgemental. Well THAT makes me feel better! And I've never said a bad word in my life! Ugh!

Don't sweat it! It seems scary at first because it's all so new, but it's honestly NOT that hard - you'll get the hang of it within the first week. Usually, schools are set up in a really simple layout. Try to get a school map or ask older friends about the school's shape so you can prepare. My high school, for example, is shaped like a big square, with an upstairs and downstairs hallway on one side. So you really can't get lost - you just follow the classroom numbers, which go in order! And if you feel super overwhelmed, ask an upperclassman who looks friendly Smile Believe it or not, a lot of them will be happy to help you! As for the locker, you'll get a 3 number "combination" that will open your locker. The first number, you spin it to the right. Once you're on that number, spin left and pass the first number until you land on the 2nd number. Lastly, spin right again to land on the 3rd number. Then voila - it'll open! It sounds stressful but you'll be able to do it in your sleep soon! 




The people are a tough part of middle/high school, and drama can be kinda crazy sometimes. But school is what you make of it. If you surround yourself with healthy people who are positive and who care about you, that's what counts. Work hard in classes, get involved in activities so you meet new people, and always be yourself <3 You can't go wrong that way!

Mod Mod Mod I know it isn't for a little while but it's most definitley on my mind. Next year I will be in High school and that means I get to start going to highschool dances homecoming,snowball and springfling I know that they are alot different than middle school dances which is casual dress and being crazy with friends. I get to find the perfect dress and shoes. I just don't know what to expect. Please tell me what it's like! I also would want heels but don't think I could ever dance in them please help!!!!!! Thanks(:

All of these changes can be soooo scary to think about at first, but you'll get the hang of it once you're there! I promise Smile All these details vary depending on your school (like I could never predict what homecoming will be like at your school - I just know how it is at mine), but one thing that DOESN'T change is this: your high school experience is what you make of it. If you get involved, meet new people, stay open-minded, work hard in classes, and stay true to yourself, your high school life will be great. <3 It might feel tough to keep up with ALL that sometimes, so don't forget to lean on your friends, teachers, and fam for support. You can do it!
