How do I get this guy to stop flirting with me?


 
A boy in my class always flirts with me and everybody says that he likes me. The truth is that he is the most annoying boy in school. He always brags about how rich he is and is very self-centered. I don't like him back and I want him to stop flirting with me. But, I don't know how to tell him without hurting his feelings.

 

His Answer: “Flirting doesn’t really mean much for every guy,” says Eric, 16, “some guys are just natural flirts, so he may not even like you.”

 

Decoded: He may just be a flirty dude so there is no reason for you to be worried that he may like you. Even if he is flirting with only you, it doesn’t mean that it has to go anywhere past that.

 

Your Move: Make sure you are making your own opinions of him and not just listening to what your friends say. If you are for sure not into him though, make sure you are not flirting back and giving him the wrong idea. Keep in mind that he can still be your friend so don’t cut him out completely.

hey, so last night i was texting my guy friend, zach. he asked me who i liked and i said i sort of liked this guy, but i didn't say the name so we had like a 30 mintues conversation about it. then i asked who he liked and he said "guess", so i said this girl called Sophie that was a no and then i said me! he said yes. i don't know what to do!

There is this guy who would not stop flirting with me. I don't like him but he doesn't know that I know that he likes me. He keeps on chatting with me on Facebook and Blackberry Messenger and I ignore him but he keeps trying to gain my attention. Please help. I don't like him and how do I do I tell him that I don't?

 

Hey girl! Of course this guy likes you! Why wouldn't he? G.L girls are super fab! Okay, so basically you cannot be harsh with this guy! Thats just straight up mean. You wouldn't want a guy you liked to reject ya, right? If him likin ya doesn't come up in conversation, don't bring it up. Give this guy 'friend vibes' rather than flirty ones. For example: its tots okay to laugh at his jokes, but not okay to compliment his new hair cut. Ya don't want to lead him on after all! If he asks ya out or admits that he likes ya, tell him in the sweetest way possible that the feelins not mutual. Try somethin like, "I think you're such a cool guy and I love our friendship! I have a slight dilemma; I feel friendless at times! In most of my classes I’m the girl who’s alone, and its not because I’m weird, but because I’m really shy! It’s March so everyone has a group, but I hate being alone. Also, my current friends are spazzy and crazy. I can be silly, but they are worse. It embarrasses me ‘cause people look in my direction. Any advice?

 

Hey chica!  The best advice I ever got was to be myself, and that's what I'm going to tell you.  When you are being yourself, true friends will follow.  Don't worry about what other people think (I know, easier said than done).  Just laugh and joke around with the friends you have now.  As for the shyness, maybe you could do an activity that will help you get out of your comfort zone; like being in the school play, or even something as simple as walking up to someone and introducing yourself.  Don't be afraid girl, you're never alone!  There are so many people out there that are feeling just as shy.
