My best friend's boyfriend told me he liked me a little and said not to tell her. Should I worry?

Uh-oh, babe, this should definitely send up a warning signal for you. Considering he told you without her knowing, and then also tossed out there that you shouldn’t tell her either, it sounds to me like he’s hiding some secrets. As her BFF, you don’t want him hiding things from her, do you? I know you don’t want her getting hurt!

Before you decide what to do about the situation you need to tackle a feel questions for yourself: Do you feel the same way about him? Is he still trustworthy? Is it still safe for your bff to be investing her heart in this boy if he’s keeping secrets?

What makes these situations most tricky is when you have some underlying feelings for him. It also brings up some red flags on his part. When he can have a secret as serious as liking his girlfriend’s best friend, what’s that say about what other things he may be hiding from her?

You have three options here: One, you could tell your best friend. Let her know that it may be harmless but that you’re always considering her first. Two, you could sit him down and talk it out. Make sure he doesn’t have any other secrets like this and that he cares for her. Then tell him that you enjoy being friends but you’d never consider getting involved in a love triangle with your best gal. Three, you can ignore it and hope that it never evolves into anything damaging.

Give this some real thought, chica. This could have all kinds of problems if gone about poorly.

I'm 99% sure this guy likes me! This in NOT good. I first started to notice it when he would say my name a little weird, he would exaggerate it in a WEIRD way (when he would ask me for a pencil EVERYDAY). He also treats me differently he will say please and thank you and offer to do things he normally would not do to other people like move my books for me. He isn't the athletic football player type, but more the swagger drop out of school with a kid type, if that makes sense. He is a jerk too! I have 6 out of 7 classes with him so it's not like I can avoid him, and the one class I don't have with him is an all girl class! We met last year and never talked but at the begining of this year he "noticed" that we had almost all of our classes together and I didn't think much about it until now. I do NOT like him, but I can't stop thinking about him like why he like ME or what would I do if he asked me out! Mod I NEED HELP here!!! Please post and answer ASAP!!!!!!!

Who knows why people like other people? Even if you don't seem like his "type," he could be drawn to you for some weird reason...and unfortunately, that's what it sounds like! Try to deal with it the best you can and be friendly. The next time he crosses that line between "friend" and "too flirty" though, speak up. Get him one-on-one and tell him the flirting is really sweet and you think he's a great guy, but you think you're better off as friends. Apologize and try to move on. Be firm though, because he needs to understand how YOU feel. Obviously rejection never feels good, but it's better than pretending and leading him on <3

I really need to learn how to take risks in the love-life area just stuff like telling my crush I like him or giving him huge flirty signals! How can I be more courageous and tell my crush I like him in a flirty and cute way?

Hey girl,

The best way to feel more comfy taking risks is to get to know the guy better beforehand! Try bonding over similar interests and talking more often - that way, you grow closer as friends and feel more comfy around each other before trying all that flirty stuff. Once you're a little closer, you can slowly become more flirty and take those risks. It's always scary to go for it because you never know how he's going to react, but the more you take risks, the better you'll get at it! <3 Take a deep breath and push yourself - what's the worst that could happen!

MOD MOD MOD!!! I have a bf who really likes me and I like him back, but recently I became really good friends with two boys and now I have a huge crush on both of them. The thing is, they're two years younger than me! I have no idea what to do my two friends both no that I like all three of them and they ate being really cool about it and always give me advise when I need it. Am I the only one who thinks liking three people at the same time is really bad?

Hey babe,

If you don't share the same feelings, you really should just cut to the chase and tell him that you're not seeing you two as an "item." If that doesn't work for you then tell him that you're interested in somebody else.

Well its time to pick our electives for next year, and my frind whos really funny wants me to pick art so we can hang out. I want to try art, but the truth is i am a terrible artist! Even my friends joke about it but im not offended. Do u think i should take art? I am interested in it but not a good artist! We will have the electives the whole year of that helps! please respond asap thanks so much!

A lot of schools have an art requirement to graduate, so if yours does too then you have an easy excuse to take it.

Even if your school does not, I definitely think you should. There's lots of different kinds of art. Just because you may not be all that great at one doesn't mean that it will be the same case with another kind. Jordan S.
