How long should I wait for my crush?



This guy and I like each other and one of our conversations came to why he doesn't want to go out with me. He said that he had just gotten out of a relationship and doesn't want another one right now. But that was four months ago and they had been broken up for two months prior to the conversation. I really really like him but I'm also tired of waiting. What should I do?

Be careful not to read too much into this, babe. There are quite a lot of factors that come into play during these situations. It’s very possible that he was not lying and that the breakup hit him hard. How much time a guy needs before he can move on properly varies incredibly. Some guys are good to go three weeks later, some need three months. Often, if the boy is holding on to the relationship, he simply won’t want to move on and he’d rather wait for his ex-girlfriend to be his again. That’s one possibility.
 
Another is that there are mixed signals somewhere between you two. If he does, in fact, like you, then why is he putting off being with you? Ask yourself this question: Do you know for sure that he shares your feelings? If he’s not sure how he feels about you, then honestly girlie, he doesn’t deserve you. You should never, ever put your life on hold for a boy who might be forever on the fence. Sure, this guy might be great, but there's no sense in waiting if there's no guaranteed future for you two.
 
If he can’t make a decision, then you make it for him and find one who will truly appreciate all that he’s got in having you affections. Good luck, girl!

Think about which guy you would be more upset to see with another girl. That is the one you like more.

so me and this guy went out for three months then he dumped me over text, evan through all that i still liked him. Now were both single again and i still like him and he likes me.. But he says he doesn't want to break my heart again so we should just be friends. But he doesn't talk to me when we see each other at school, but texts me NON STOP!!! how can i get his attention without being to pushy?!?!

I think the real question is if YOU want to date him again after he dumped you over text? Even though he texts you a lot now, I can't see him being a good BF to you! He ignores you at school and he already broke your heart once! I know you like him and want him to be your BF again, but don't you think it's his turn to show you that he's sorry for what he did and still really likes you?! Try to talk to him one more time and tell him how much you like him - BUT if he still wants to be only friends, it's time to move on, babes!

Okay, so around Halloween my crush and I (who is also my BGF) admitted our crushes to each other and it turns out he likes me back(yay!)! Recently he also told me that I was his Valentine and I talk to him all the time at school. I want to get together outside of school but I don't know how to ask him without my friends getting all insane on me(they know and always make a HUGE deal of telling him he should ask me out). Please help! Also, what are some things we could do together? Thx so much!

MOD MOD MOD MOD so i really like one of my close guy friends. we did a musical together a couple months ago, and we bonded over that. now the musical's over and i haven't seen him in 2 weeks, and i wont for another 2(more church stuff). the day after the church event, i'm going to one of his lacrosse games. i mentioned how i've never seen lacrosse and he said i should go to one of his games. anyways:
1. how can i make sure we stay close? not only is he awesome, but he's an awesome friend also. i don't wanna lose him just because the musical is over.
2. how can i work up the courage to ask him to hang out? i'm scared about it and i don't know why!!
3. what should i wear to the game? i'm thinking it'll be somewhere around the 60's-70's. how can i dress casually but cute?
