So me and this guy used to be SUPER close, like best friends. And then I started getting feelings for him...so I became a little more distant. And he noticed. He found out I had feelings for him through a friend of mine (I was kind of hoping she'd be smart and tell him to talk to me..but she didn't :/) so then HE got REALLY distant. Now we barely talk. And I miss his friendship more than I miss the flirting and the cute things he said. I really wanted to deal with this face to face, but I kept chickening out/passing up chances. Now I won't be seeing him for a good week or so because of spring break. I want to text him at least, but I don't want him to think I'm only friendly through texyt. I know I'm ready to put our friendship first, over a relationship. How do I tell him that without being too blunt, too awkward, or too shady?
