OK I have a huge crush on this guy, let's call him "Joe." One day I'm talking to my friend at her locker, when I see Joe walking by, coming to his locker which is close to hers. Trying to flirt, I smile and say "Hey." He stares at me with a disgusted look on his face. As soon as I'm about to ask what's wrong, he says "Umm, why are you even talking to me? Shouldn't you be in Mathletes with the rest of your dork friends?" My jaw dropped and I slammed his locker shut, and everything fell down inside. GO KARMA!!! But I was still heartbroken. Frown

OMG! Jerk! But, ya know what I do when idiots are rude to me because I'm WAAAAAY smarter than they are? I just picture myself with a great job, that pays really well, while they're working at mickey D's, because they couldn't get into colledge!

Hey girl,

1. Try getting to know him better as a friend and even hanging out, if possible! Since you're flirting and he might not be getting the hint, you gotta go another route and get closer to him that way!

2. It's normal to be a little boy crazy! It's not such a bad thing Smile Just make sure you balance that out by focusing on hobbies, talking to your friends about other things, and working hard in school. It's ok to think about boys all the time and flirt... but just remember that there are OTHER important things too! (And of course, remember that flirting is more special when you save it for guys you really, really like - it'll make them feel like you actually really like them!)

WHOO! U go chica! Slam that locker in his face! LOL anyway, nothing wrong with being smart in fact, if you work hard and get good grades, you can get a scholarship and go to a better college. And if your crush was smart (which he's obviously not) he would buddy up with smart people like you and get help with grades Tong Look for a guy who respects you above all else and has the same intrests as you.
