I'm in a pretty sticky situation with a guy I've liked on and off for almost three years now. He's just one of those guys where no matter how many times you get over him, there's something so attractive about him that you just can't absolutely forget him. I told him the second year I knew him that I liked him, but he wasn't interested and found himself a girlfriend a few days later. I got over it. They broke up pretty fast, and it's been two years since his last relationship. I've recently really liked him again, and he was even flirting back....until he asked me the other day if "I thought he was leading me on." The thing is, I didn't feel like he was because it seemed sincere. He said he didnt want to hurt me or to expect anything, but at the same time he didn't mind seeing, flirting, or talking to me. I'm so confused, because successful relationships rely on two-way streets. I really think fate wants me to keep going back to him, but idk why! PLEASE HELP!

I know you don't want to hear this, but if he's said he's not interested, then he's really not feeling it.  He wouldn't lie to you and tell you that if he liked you.  I know those feelings that come back after a while like that, but they go away with time.  You will find somebody you like even more, somebody who makes those other feelings just seem like a shadow.  But, you have to be willing to let that happen and let this fade.

Hey! It sounds to me like you really like this guy congrats, it can be fun to have a crush. The best way to deal with this is to be his friend and see if something more happens naturally. I have seen so many girls get hurt and ruin friendships because they "had to know" if someone liked them, and they asked the guy about it and made the whole situation awkward. I even did that myself when I was younger. It's better to have a secret crush on your friend than to have a public crush on your ex-friend. good luck!
