Okay so you might get a lot of questions about this. Do you know how guys impress girls? For example, this one guy that I'm closer to ALWAYS beats up his one friend whom I'm also close to (he beats him up more than just a kid push, but not like wrestling). He only does it when I'm around because, well I don't know why. And he doesn't stop unless I comment about his behavior. I'm only close to him because our moms are friends. But he isn't embarrassed to talk about it openly at school. He has before. Also something off topic, this one other guy's parents know my mom but aren't really close or anything. But he's embarrassed to talk about this at school. He also goes to my house every Wednesday. So I developed a crush on him.(by the way I like geeks and well, he is one) But I don't think that he likes me. So do you know what I should do about both things?

 

hey! First of all, I'm a little concerned that he's pushing his friend around to impress you, and yeah, I think that's what he's doing. Do you know how his friend feels about this? You might need to tell him to cut it out or get a teacher if he's hurting his friend. I think he might like you just based on the way he's acting, so if you like him you can start hanging out with him more Smile

I realy like this guy but my BFF can't stand him cuz she thinks he's awkward. He's 2 years older (I'm a freshman he's a junior). Some of my friends (who are also good freinds with him) think he might ask me out soon. If he does is it ok for me to say yes even tho my bestie doesnt like him and he's older?

Of course! As long as you have stuff in common and he treats you with respect, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to date him. Sometimes, our besties won't like our crushes/BFs as much as we do... and sometimes, our BFs/crushes won't also be BFFs with our friends either. But that's normal and it's totally ok! Just don't force them to hang out with each other - it's ok if you're not a big happy family all the time ;)

Hey, so there's this guy in my Arabic class who seems like he's been flirting with me a lot lately. Ever since his GF cheated on him he's definitely been interacting with me more. Like at break time, he like rushes up to me and walks with me to the caf and we talk. And he's been sitting next to me in class (he never used to sit next to me). Also like when we were doing something in class and I got really confused he asked me if I needed help and I said I didn't know and then a couple minutes later he said "So what do you need help with?" Also when I totally blanked out on a word on the test he told me (even though he was probably not supposed to.) Also I make him laugh a lot, even when I'm not really doing anything that funny, and every time I laugh he laughs. What do ya think? Does it sound like he likes me?

Hmm that does sounds a little like he *might* be interested, but it also seems as though he's going through a rough patch that's making him want to reach out and bond with a friend. I would say try not to rush to conclusion by inferring that he likes you as more than friends until he actually asks you to be his girlfriend. If he broke up with his girlfriend, he just might be spending more time with you to see if he'd want to be your boyfriend, but unless he asks you out or confess his feelings, I'd say he sees you as a friend. <3

Because you like how he's generous with his compliments, you could say he's sweet and verbally affectionate. You could also notice what he does good, like maybe things he does that shows that he's caring, timely, romantic, observant, funny, attentive, stylish, positive, and so on. If you're looking to say nice things about his looks, some words are handsome, cute, dashing, etc. Smile

aww today i had a nice thing happen too. at lunch i got a fortune cookie i opened it and my fortune read "give the one you love most a hug; it feels good" my friends said ohh that means John (my ex/crush).so after recess in line i said "my fortune told me to give you a hug." he says "okay." and gives me a hug even tho his friends were there.
