I have combination skin and was wondering if scrubs are harsher for combination skin than cleansers. Also, are there any moisturizers or cleansers that you would recommend for combination skin? I was also wondering if body butter works well for combination skin too. Thank you!!!

Hey there, chica! I love scrubs- especially how clean they make my face feel. But, unfortunately, I've been told by quite a few professionals that they can be too harsh on your skin if you use them daily. I'd try using a creamy cleanser for every day, and maybe use a scrub once or twice a week. I have combination skin, too, and my favorites are Aveeno (for both moisturizer and face wash), and Burt's Bees (more for the face wash). I'm not an expert, my instinct would tell me that body butter would be too oily/heavy for your face (if that's what you were talking about using it on). As for your body, though, I'm sure it would be great.

I have the "Burst's Bees Natural Acne Solution Pore Refining Scrub" it works very well! I have combination skin too. In the summer my skin gets very oily and in the winter my skin gets super dry it's annoying! But I rather have oily skin because you can just use any Oil-Free wash.

Is it true that either lemon juice or vinegar can take away acne? I have quite oily skin, and I'm having trouble getting rid of my infected blister. I've been trying to use either of them, but I feel that I think it's getting worse. Do you have any advice that could get rid of it?

ok so im been using this thing on my face called stridex maximum it looks like its already working cuz i used it right now and do you know how long it will take to get it all my pimples from my forehead there already fading away but i still have some. thxs!!! Smile

Hey girl,

How long it will take your skin to clear up really depends on your skin and the product. If you aren't seeing the results you want, talk to your parents about going to a dermatologist for professional skin advice!
