My sister ran away. What should I do?

 
My 15-year-old sister ran away. I know where she is, but I’m afraid to tell because I don’t want to get in trouble.

 

Dear Confused,

This is a serious situation. Rather than keep silent, reveal your sister’s whereabouts to a parent, or talk to a school counselor, psychologist, clergyperson, relative or some trusted adult who can help. I realize you don’t want to tattle on your sister, but if she’s in danger, speaking up can make a difference—or even save her life.

Wow. Your sister could be in danger, you know how to help her, but you refuse to help because YOU don't want to get in trouble. That is really selfish, I feel bad for you. I would give my life for ANY of my sisters, and you wouldn't even try to help yours a little bit. That is so sad. I bet your sister would help you. But you don't want to get in trouble. All I can say is: Wow.

Oh my gosh! That's terrible! Definitely tell your parents. She might get mad at you, but she'll thank you for it later. she might not even be mad at you. You could save her life, and she might realize it right away. I'm praying for you, girl.

is bulimic the disease where you throw up ur food? cause i think i might have that!! Ive been throwing up my meals for a long time and i want to stop! How do i do that?

 

Hey chica,

Bulimia is when you purposefully throw up food after eating until you're too full because you want to lose weight. If that sounds like the eating disorder you have, I'd say try your best to not go and throw up, and tell yourself you're beautiful everyday. But if you don't have the willpower to stop, I'd say talk to an eating disorder therapist. Here's a website I found that tells you more about bulimia's symptoms and treatments. Hope that helps! <3
