What "going out" means to guys


 
What does a guy expect from you if he asks you to “go out” with him? I’m only in eighth grade so, technically, I can’t actually “go” anywhere with a guy.


Bill: Guys don’t expect much. Just total worship, sports tickets, and validation of the egotistical belief that they’re funny and good-looking. I’m kidding! When a guy asks you to “go out” with him, he basically wants to share good (and bad) times with you. With the right person, that can be kind of cool. The truth is, you really don’t have to “go out” with someone to care a lot about him or her.


Dave: To some guys “going out” might mean an occasional call or text after school. To others, it means spending all your free time with each other. Figuring out what “going out” means is just one more issue in the long, long laundry list of things involved in sorting out the BF/GF thing. Find a guy who’s looking for the same thing as you…and you’ve got yourself a keeper.

at my school, it's basically the same as asking "do you want to be my girlfriend/boyfriend." a lot of times they actually don't end up up "going" anywhere. and most relationships don't last long, because none of them are actually that serious. that was at my junior high. i'm going to be a freshman this year, and haven't had a boyfriend.. the right guy just hasn't come along yet. but that's what i'm waiting for. c:

MOD MOD MOD!!!!!!! I have the most AMAZING boyfriend that im dating right now. Hes true and kind and loving to me and i love him for that!! But the school year is coming to an end and next year im going to a diffrent school than him... What should we do about our relationship???? PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

Hey girl, well that's no problem! You'll still be able to go out and hangout with each other and call each other. Don't worry about it. The only difference is you might not get to see him everyday. But distance makes the heart grow fonder, so your relationship can grow even more!

my bf that ive known for over 4 years through moving 3 hours away by plain, liking each other and not knowing it , moving back, and going out is my perfect bf. the problem is that he wanted to break up when i wouldnt kiss him( my first kiss so i was kinda scared ) and we kindof have an off and on relationship. i really like him and we're like best friends, sometimes doesnt text me back. i cant tell if he really likes me or just wants someone to kiss. i need advice!
