Bill: Guys don’t expect much. Just total worship, sports tickets, and validation of the egotistical belief that they’re funny and good-looking. I’m kidding! When a guy asks you to “go out” with him, he basically wants to share good (and bad) times with you. With the right person, that can be kind of cool. The truth is, you really don’t have to “go out” with someone to care a lot about him or her.

Haha, yeah, but just make sure you KNOW what his definition of going out is. 'Cause when I thought me and this kid were just friends, he told his friends we were going out.... o.O We had gone to a movie, but his brother was there, so I just thought it was a friend thing, since he never actually said "will you go out with me?". Yeah, not a good experience.....

MOD MOD MOD MOD I really like this college guy, he is five years older than me, i am a sophmore in high school and he is a student teacher that just sits in the room. We talk sometimes, he is really nice and he is sooooo adorable! should i go for him? or will he just see this as a silly girl crush? Hey babe, At this point in your lives, five years is a big deal. Especially at the gap between high school and college. Chances are that he likely will see this as a silly crush. I think you should divert your attentions to another boy closer to your age. Who knows, maybe he already has a significant other. Jordan S.

MOD MOD MOD MOD I feel so left out in school. I feel like I'm always alone and I hate getting on Facebook and seeing what everyone else is doing. I don't want to be popular, I just want more people I can call friends. The prob is I'm very shy and I fear starting a conversation. Once I get to know someone and feel comfortable I can be more outgoing. How can I be more outgoing and, in a sense, more popular (despite the fact being 'popular' as in mean, isn't my goal)? Hey babe, Sometimes it can be really hard to break out of your shell, but once you do, everything becomes so much easier. Is there anybody that really stands out to you as somebody you want to befriend? Take the time to grow closer with one person and from there you can branch out and maybe even meet mutual friends of hers. Once you make one real good friend, the others fall right into place. Maybe even once you meet that best friend, you really don't need a bunch. Jordan S.
