My current BF and I met at the school band camp. I had just moved there and so when he confessed that he liked me I was so happy that someone liked me after only 4 days. We started texting and then one day my dad took my phone and read my convo with him, and was mad that we were saying stuff like "u r so cute" and texted him back and told him to never talk to me again. I was heartbroken, but then I started finding other ways to talk to him and stuff, but kept getting caught, now my parents hate him. He is a super sweet guy and I wish that they could see how much he loves me and I love him, but they won't listen to me. How could I possibly change their opinion of him? I can't really date until 16 so idk what to do! HELP!

 

Hey koolkat534, maybe if you introduce him to your parents they'll change their minds. They probably dislike him because they have this image of him as a bad guy, but if you show them he's actually nice they might not be quite as strict. Also explain to them that you're just friends and nothing more. No parents want their young daughter off doing things with a boy, so make it clear you two are just pals who like each other.
