Super smart tuna tacos

 
This recipe makes a perfect snack or weekend lunch.  It’s even portable, so you can enjoy it on the go! Load up your taco shells with your fave add-ons—we’re digging diced tomatoes and a hint of sour cream, but you can mix it up with salsa verde, avocado or other healthy additions, as well. Hope you’re hungry!

 

 

Ingredients

Makes 1 serving, two tacos

 

1 5-ounce can of tuna with liquid

2 tablespoon taco seasoning

2 tablespoons hot water

2 taco shells

1/4 cup shredded, low-fat cheddar cheese

Salsa

½ small tomato, chopped

2 tablespoons non-fat sour cream

 

Directions

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.  When the pan is warm, add the tuna and stir to break up the big chunks of tuna fish.  Evenly sprinkle the taco seasoning over the tuna, and add hot water. Stir well until the water is absorbed and the fish is heated through.  Divide the tuna in half, and fill each taco shell with ½ tuna mixture. Top each taco with 2 tablespoons cheese, as much salsa as you’d like, ¼ chopped tomato and 1 tablespoon sour cream.  Enjoy!

MOD MOD MOD! Is it possible to get a bikini bod in 2 weeks? I have a swim day for my school and I want to look toned and good. I run 45 minutes a day. 5 times a week. I also do workouts for 5-10 minutes after running. I eat as healthily as possible. Sometimes I splurge but not too often. What type of swimsuit would be appropriate for a 6th grader? All my friends are wearing bikinis but Im not very toned to wear one. I was thinking of wearing a Tankini. The swim day is on June 6th.

Hey girlie,

That's already a great routine you've got! You're treating your bod well and making healthy choices, which is awesome! To answer your question, the short answer is No - you're not gonna get rock hard abs or super lean legs in two weeks. But there are some things you can do to make yourself feel more confident in your bathing suit, like cutting out fast/junk food for the next two weeks and avoiding salt/soda/other "bloaty" foods, that can make your belly feel bloated because they make you gain water weight. As for the best swimsuit for you, go with what makes you feel comfortable! A tankini is a great option because it's a little bit of both Smile
