Your mom’s right, babe. As long as you’re healthy, you shouldn’t be worrying about having a killer bod. That being said, it’s hard to avoid judging ourselves, especially when we’re baring so much skin come summertime.
The best way to look good and to feel great all year round is to lead an active lifestyle. For some sweeties, that means playing a sport or two or three. For others, it means going to dance class. For others, it means riding their bike everywhere or playing with friends in the park or busting a move thanks to Just Dance 3.
Don’t think about it in terms of working out or having a flat tummy. Use your body to it’s fullest potential—exercising, competing and having a blast with your buds—and take pride in the way it looks and what it’s able to do for you.

This is a really great article and it's really true, that you should always be proud to be you. I play soccer and I dance and my doc says I;m the perfect weight for my height & age but I feel like I look like I weigh more than I do it's weird but when I read this article it made me smile great job Girlslife!
