Style 911: 3 Bathing suit shapes that hide stretch marks

When ya look in the mirror, do you see these white, scar-like scratches covering your skin? Those are stretch marks. But don’t panic, chica! These 3 bathing suit shapes guarantee that those unwanted flaws won’t steal your spotlight during your spring break vacay. Plus, we’re ditching tips on how to get rid of stretch marks, once and for all!

Shape #1: Try a tankini for stretch marks on your boobs or belly.

The longer shirt style totally covers up any marks you might be insecure about. Try a funky mismatched bottom to look super stylish when you hit the beach.

Women’s Mix and Match Boyshort Bottoms, $20, oldnavy.com

Shape #2: Rock a one-piece bathing suit for stretch marks on your waist or belly.

The monokini is not just a boring alternative to a bikini. It’s actually this season’s most stylish swimwear piece! A striped maillot does wonders for your shape. Hello, insta-curves!

Striped Monikion, $25, target.com

Shape #3: Sport a skirted bottom for stretch marks on your thighs or booty.

Covering up white lines on the lower parts of your body has never been easier: rock a cute skirted bottom and be the most fashionable (and confident!) chica by the pool!

3 quick tips to ditch stretch marks in no time:

Tip # 1: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Use lotions like cocoa butter that increase your body’s elasticity and stimulate blood flow. You can also massage your skin with vitamin E oils. Vitamin E is a powerful anti-oxidant that supports your skin’s self-healing process. Smells yummy, too!

Tip # 2: Use self tanner but do NOT go tanning!

While self-tanning lotion makes your stretch marks less noticeable, the tanning salon will do just the opposite! Stretch marks won’t tan under real UV rays but rather turn out all white (eek).

Tip # 3: Work out (sorry guys)!

We know ya don’t wanna hear it - but working out might just be the key to solving the stretch mark sitch. With a quick workout once a day, you can fight the appearance of stretch marks (most of them are built from fat so once ya get rid of that, they’ll disappear, too!). Try a couple of sit-ups, push ups and leg pumpers once a day and ya can wave stretch marks buh-bye!

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD how do you get rid of puberty marks? they're like stretch marks but they're pink, girls get them when they grow too fast. I have them on my hips and upper thighs, the cocoa butter isn't working.

Hey girl,

If the lotion's not helping you out, you might want to visit a doctor or dermatologist to get a professional recommendation on how to fix them!

I am in track along with training for cross country so I run around 24 miles a week, along with other activities when I hang out with friends, and I try my best to eat right, BUT I STILL HAVE VERTICLE STRETCH MARKS ON MY THIGHS. They are very light but it still makes me really upset, I don't understand what im doing wrong!
