GL's dream 1D collaborations


 
The songs sung by the cuties of One Direction alone are amazing. Which is why they have sold out a ton of tour dates, had a No. 1 debut album and are about to release their Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD this Tuesday, May 29.

 

Packed with live versions of our fave 1D songs, the DVD will give that front row concert experience for those not lucky enough to be in the audience for one of the boys’ upcoming summer shows.

 

But before this Directioner must-have is available for purchase, we started thinking about some future One Direction collaborations. Musical collabs always get our hearts racing, especially when they include cute boy bands! So which artists do we think would make some interestingly amazing music with our boys, 1D? Find out below!

 

One Direction and…

 

…Kelly Clarkson

There isn’t a song Kelly does that isn’t beautiful. She has more talent than anyone should have! If this Idol brought her amazing voice to a 1D track, we think it would simply be magical.

 

… Drake

One Direction songs are pretty sugary sweet, which is totally fine! But sometimes you need to mix it up a bit. Drake’s rapping and wonderfulness could up the swag in a 1D song.

 

…Demi Lovato

When Demi is featured on a song (remember her duets with We The Kings and with Hot Chelle Rae?), the tune becomes golden. She brings her emotion and strength everywhere she goes. How could a song not benefit from such enthusiasm? 

 

…Big Time Rush

OK, they’ve been on tour together and that was great. But we want more! We want a boy band collab of BTR and 1D, the way Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block did it. Think: Double the hotness, double the sweetness. Ahhh.

 

…Rihanna

She sure is a hit maker. And every single Rihanna comes out with reaches the top of the charts. It would be cool to see her step out of her box and do a collab with 1D. We wonder what kind of sound they’d create together.

 

…David Guetta

One Direction songs are more stripped down than most of the other jams out there right now, which makes us super happy! But sometimes it’s nice to switch things up. David Guetta is known for his crazy DJing and awesome beats. If you combined his skills with One Directions, well, awesomeness, that would be one dance song we promise we’d never stop playing.

I really don't think any of those would work except maybe Kelly.
I'm waiting for them to do a colab with the Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber.

I think it's pretty cool when a band decides to do a collab with another artist but One Direction isn't just a band to me. I don't know what it is, but I've never been more connected with a band before. I love these boys and I don't think they really need to do a collab with someone. Kelly Clarkson maybe, I've always loved her. Maybe Demi Lovato, she's got a great voice and power. But I think each of the boys are so different from each other in terms of character when they sing it's like a collab within itself, ya know? Maybe I'm talking gibberish but I think the boys should keep recording as One Direction and bring out this new album Nialler's been bragging about NOW! ♥

GL has plenty of ideas! Hmmm..why not try a cute haircut? If had long tresses forever, why not cut 'em short? What about bangs? As for make-up, leave the dramatic stuff for parties. At school, have a cute neutral look. Try pink blush, bronzer, and mascara. To change it up, switch the color of your lip gloss everyday! Try red one day and pink the next. You'll look fab!

I think Demi Lovato would soung GREAt with them. I'm a big fan of both (I went to a demi concert and am going to a 1D concert next july) so I would really like to see them do something together. Plus, they're both really good live.

I don't like BTR and I think they are just a cheesy kids band that doesn't even write their own songs. 1D is perfect just the way they are. WAY better than BTR any day. But I think 1D and Demi would sound pretty cool. But with the Drake part and the rapping...NO. 1D is not a rap band, they are a super sweet guy band and rap in their songs would just ruin who they are.

I guess I wouldn't mind, like, one collaboration, but I hate it when singers start collaborating all the time so that almost every song on their album is featuring another singer! It drives me crazy!

I agree with gldiva98: I don't really think they should collaborate with people. I think 1D is perfect just the way they are Smile And DRAKE with 1D?!?!?!?!? Are you KIDDING?!?!? NO WAY. NUFF SAID. The only person on this list I wouldn't kind to see them collaborate with is David Guetta. I mean, it will still be our beautiful 1D singing, but Guetta would just spice up the music. I think that would sound pretty cool! Laughing What do ya think????

MOD MOD MOD ok this is completely off topic but last night I put a tampon in at around 6 and I fell asleep and forgot to take it out intill I woke up the next morning at around 7:20. What should I do? Could that give me tss?




Hey girlie,

Leaving tampons in longer than 6-8 hours is one of the ways TSS can develop. Try not to get freaked out though - you changed the tampon and you're feeling ok right now, so chances are you're totally fine. Over the next day, just try to notice if you start to quickly feel feverish, nauseous, like you have to use the bathroom (diarrhea), dizzy, or if you develop a rash. If you do and the symptoms come on rapidly, you should go to the doctor and get checked! <3
