I was on the phone with my BF and he asked me if I wanted to go on a double date with him and his friend with his date. Of course I said yes and was really excited because my mom said yes. It was a week away and since my BF didn't own a phone, I kept talking the other guy who was going (my BGF) and he promised everyone was going and that everything was going to be perfect. My friend came over and helped me do my hair and makeup and choose a cute mini dress. I texted my BGF and said I was ready and asked if he and my BF were ready. He said "Nope your BF never got a yes and told me to tell you, but I wanted to see how you would take it. OK I gtg my GF is waiting at the movies." That friendship was ruined right then and there. What a jerk!!
