I don't think kids under 15 should be on Facebook. It bugs me that my brother made an account at 11. People friend random people and 'like random things. It just isn't good. I think way too many people don't realize that what they post online is out there forever and for the world to see. I did a report on how social media can affect jobs. It's astounding. Kids that have Facebook at 12 may not realize this and post stuff that may haunt them ten years later. Same with a lot of sites. THINK BEFORE YOU POST. I'm glad this wasn't around when I was in middle school.
I don't think the age limit would matter. My mom doesn't even have an account but she would creep on mine via my brother's. She would question me about stuff.
Personally I have stopped using Facebook all together because I don't care what people are doing. And if I do, I'll text them.
And I disagree with the article. It was college students, then high school, then parents, now middle school.

ooh! what if the creators of facebook made a facebook designed for little kids that parent can control. i think that would be awesome
