Tomorrow night I'm starting daily classes,(I'll be taking 3 every week)at my local Recreation Center. I'm in this club called the "Off The Couch Club" for kids my age to exercise. My goal is to lose 10-15 pounds this summer. I'm really nervous because I'm not AT ALL athletic and a lot of these kids are. I'm almost the only one. I don't want to look stupid,and I don't want to feel bad,either. The people running the club promise they'd help everyone personally because everyone is at a different level. I am still REALLY scared because I'm not athletic,I'm chubby,and I am really shy and awkward. PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry! You can't lose sight of the fact that you're taking these classes to have fun in addition to losing a bit of weight. Just because some of the kids might be more athletic than you doesn't mean they're better than you. I bet you have strengths, too! If you're feeling a little awkward doing different exercises, don't be afraid to ask for help from the instructors. That's what they are there for! Good luck!
