Flattery or fakery: Are your crush's compliments legit?


 
When a guy says you’re pretty and perfect and is really nice to you, does he really mean it or is it just a ploy to get you?
 
Bill: A few guys play the flattery game really well, but most guys are terrible at it. If a guy gets up the nerve to give you props, you can be fairly sure he means it. Compare notes with other girls. If he feeds them the same lines he feeds you, he’s a poseur and isn’t worth your time.
 
Dave: If a guy tells you you’re perfect, run with it. He’s letting you know that, in his mind, there’s nothing about you he’d change. That’s quite a compliment.

Hey! I need some help. There's a guy I like and i have his #. The only problem is, when I text him, he doesn't text back. One time, when he did, he told me he wasn't going to respond and to stop texting him! We talk at school, but my friends think he's annoying. They know i like him but don't bother me about it. I'm even starting to get annoyed by him. It's like at time, he'll be nice to me and complimenting me and other times he'll be mad and not talking to me. It never lasts long though...Help!




 Well chica, if he's not interested and he's being that rude about it, don't bother with him. You want someone who is as into you as you are into them. There'll be other boys, don't worry.
