I'm on an FTC team for competitive robotics and so is my crush. I was at state competition and we were walking in the halls to get lunch. He stopped for a second and said, "If we win, I would kiss you." My response was, "You like me?." He thought for a second and then said, "Maybe." Later when they were announcing the awards, our team had won! I ran over to him and asked, "So, you said something about a kiss didn't you?" He said "later," we were just kind of walking around getting our pictures taken with the trophy. He pulled me aside and asked if he could talk to me. We then went outside where nobody else was and he kissed me! <3

(FYI so cute story!) But why do all the guys that I don't like keep coming to me. I mean can't some nice guy ever come to me. Like the first boy i went out with ended up being a jerk... he was also my only BF... But still why do the jerks bug me. All i want is to meet at least one nice guy. My mom says that this one boy, who messes with me more then anyone and likes to argue with me, is probebly afraid of his feelings for me and just either, A., try to run me away so he doesn't want to think about me, or, B, is his way of hiding his feelings, or, C, is his way of expersing himself, or D, all of the above.
She said she could be wrong. But the next day I tried confuesing him so in the middle of yelling at him i yelled, "You're such a jerk do you like me?" and he fell for it saying, "Yes you nimrode!" Then stopped and blushed and I was shocked. So that leaves me to think,'whjy do the guys that are rude to me like me????'

You may feel like you're the only one having these experiences with guys while your friends are being wooed by great guys. Well you're probably wrong. Most guys your age act like that. I know it's frustrating but soon enough they'll grow up and start expressing their feelings in a more mature way. Sounds like your mom was right!

I like this guy he is super cute, but he is a total jerk.I asked him out and he rejected me. After that he asked my bff.Years later (they broke up a while ago) his friends ALWAYS tell me he likes me and my friends even say this and they are trying to hook me up with him!!! Smile On the trip I went on the another day (let's call my friend Debby , Jenny , and my crush) My friend "Jenny" told me to sit next to my crush. He might like you, or he might just be confused! If you want to find out for sure, you could keep hanging out as friends and see how he acts around you. If he says he's changed since last time, it won't hurt to give him a chance, but be suspicious if he starts being unkind again!

I go to a Gifted and Talented Camp every summer and this year there was this super cute guy in my group. I had seen him before in cotillion, but when we were in a coffee shop doing interviews, he just randomly took a picture of me! When I asked him if he took a picture, he started to kinda get self conscience and everything. We dont go to the same school or anything though. Do you think he likes me?

It's possible that he's crushin on ya! It's hard to tell based on one situation though - especially because we don't know him personally. Try to get to know him better! Talk to him more, be friendly, flirt in a subtle way, and see how he responds. If he seems into it and wants to get to know you, that's a great sign! <3

PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!! so i played soccer starting in first grade, but I quit in 7th grade because the girls on my team were brats. Now I'm going to be a freshman and I really wanna play in highschool, but im afraid everyone else will be better than me. It seems like everyone who is trying out plays on a really good team. I still remember all the skills and everything. I'm just afraid the other girls and upperclassmen will hate me for not being good or getting the ball..should I try???

You should definitely try! You can practice over the summer and prepare for it. Remember, if you try out and make it, the coach obviously thinks you're good enough for the team. Show the other girls how talented you are! Even if you're not the best player on the team, you will still put in your best effort and everyone will appreciate that.

Okay this is weird but I'm really worried about my friend because she is staying at a guy's house this summer and I'm afraid something might happen like you know. The reason I believe this is because she likes him, he likes her, no one is going to be there but them, and she's really boy crazy. Right now she has a crush on about 5 or 6 guys. Part of the reason she is like that is because her mom yells at her but still let's her do whatever she yells at her about . Oh I almost forgot the guy is older than her only a year (12 vs. 13) but still. I told her I'm worried for her safety but she said she'll be fine.

I understand that you're worried and it's good that you care so much about your friend. However, there isn't really anything you can do. She has to make her own decisions, and hopefully you are good enough friends that you can voice your concerns and talk to her, and then trust that she does what is right. It's right to care about your friend, but make sure you're not acting like you are responsible for her safety or behavior. Stay in the role of a friend, not a mother.

Ok so my crush and I are like super close friends. But we only usually talk over text because for 2 years now we have went to diff skools. Anyway, I really like him. Honestly, I think Im in love. Hey chicky, the best thing is to bring up something that he's interested in. Comment on something that happened at school, or ask him about his fave sport. If you know what his summer or weekend plans are, ask him how they're going. If you are in a club or group with him, mention something about that. Good luck! Smile
