What you’ll need:
1 cup water
2 teaspoons of coffee (black tea works, too)
3 teaspoons of sifted henna powder
1 teaspoon of eucalyptus oil
What you’ll do:
Step 1: Boil the water. Add 2 teaspoons of coffee to boiling water. Let it rest for a few hours, then use a strainer to remove coffee grounds. Put henna powder and eucalyptus oil in another bowl. Don't mix it!
Step 3: Let paint set for at least six hours, and no more than twelve. You want the henna dye to have the consistency of toothpaste.
Step 4: Apply the henna! Go crazy with cool patterns. Try applying to your feet, hands and even stomach. Have fun!

I sooo want to try this! My mom has some henna, she uses it to dye her red. All i need is eucalyptus oil, but they probably have in the indian store she goes to for henna, but we might have the oil! my mom has lots of types of oils. p.s. my mom is not an indian person, just to clarify.

it's not just people with an indian background who own henna powder. and it doesn't take much effort to go to a market and by some. Carrie R.
