According to the Wall Street Journal, Brigham Young University’s School of Family Life just released their findings of a study on 325 families. While Mom gives ya hope and gratitude, researchers say, Dad helps you figure out how to meet the difficulties in life—very keep calm and carry on.

 

So this Father’s Day, give Dad an extra-big hug for making ya the determined, driven darlin’ you are today. And remember, go get ‘em, champ!

MOD MOD MOD!! I really try to not eat sweets but it's so hard. I can probably go for 2 or 3 days without sweets then I splurge. A lot. I dont know what to do. I tried eating a little bit every other day but that didn't work either. I was thinking of having One a day. Is that too much? I seriously tried everything but I can't not eat it for that long. (I am not in charge of the shopping list and when I tell my parents that I don't want sweets in the house, they get worried and think I'm anorexic or something. My brother likes sweets so I can't not have sweets in my house.) what should I do? Thanks luv! xx




Hey girl!

There's a couple things you can do. Try eating fruit--it's sweet too! You could drizzle a little chocolate on it to make it even tastier. It's totally OK to eat sweets, you just have to learn how to eat it in moderation. Have a half a candy bar or cookie instead of the whole thing. And as long as you have an otherwise well-rounded, healthy diet, there's nothing wrong with having a little sweets!
