My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year now. He was my first kiss and everything. He had a few other girlfriends before me, and I wasn't his first kiss, but we are very close. The thing is, lately I've been thinking about other guys. I've never dated or kissed another guy , and now I feel like I never can because I'm in a serious relationship. I love him very much, and I want to be with him for a long, long time, but I also want to be a teenage girl who has crushes and dates different guys and kisses cute boys. I dont think its worth losing him to date other guys just for fun, but having these thoughts makes me really sad. He has dated lots of other girls before, so he wouldn't understand. I just feel like as SOON as I started dating, I got into a serious relationship and never got to see what it was like. We are going to be sophomores, and our relationship is definitely strong enough to last throughout high school. But I keep having these thoughts! Idk what to do.

It's totally normal to have those thoughts, but it also sounds like you care about your boyfriend a lot! What those girls are doing with dating different guys and kissing different people is really just looking for someone awesome, and you were lucky enough to find someone great right away so you skipped those steps! Remembering how great your bf is will make you realize that it's worth not living the single life. But if you do want to see what that's like, you could take a break from your relationship and start dating again when you're ready.
