I have two boys that like me but I don't like either of them. One tries to flatter me with saying my hair looks bad then the next moment he is sitting next to me saying I'm pretty! The other one talks to me on Facebook and begs me to be his girlfriend. I'm in 7th grade and I don't want a boyfriend but he keeps pushing. What should I do?

Hey girl! This is a sticky situation. But it’s good that you know exactly how you feel, so at least you’re not trying to decide between the two boys. Yikes! Boys sometimes have ridiculous ways of showing that they like you. One moment Boy #1 is picking on you and the next he’s flattering you, while Boy #2 is practically down on his knees begging for you to be his girlfriend! I can understand why that’s just way too much to handle.

The best thing to do is let these boys know your feelings ASAP. Imagine if you liked a guy who didn’t like you back. They’ll probably be disappointed, but at least you were honest. No matter if Boy #1 is making jokes or flattering you, do your best to ignore him. As long as you respond to what he says, you’re only adding fuel to the fire. If you hold your ground and ignore him, he’ll probably get the picture. As for Boy #2, the next time he sends you a desperate plea to be his GF, tell him that you’re just not interested in having a BF right now.

Plus there’s good news: you have a summer free of these boys to look forward to. Since you won’t be seeing them at school anymore, you probably won’t have to worry too much about them bugging you.

okay so i need some advice. I like this guy. He went to my school which got out last week. A lot of girls like him and think he's hot and stuff and he doesn't hang out with anybody that I'm friends with. He just cut his hair and it looks really good and now even more girls like him or think he's cute or whatever. I've like him all year since the beginning of school and I never really did anything about it. He had two girlfriends during the year and they both were nothing like me. At the beginning of the year he told his friends and stuff that he thought i was hot and really pretty. I don't know if i should text him or just do nothing cuz i don't think he likes me. ALSO... i was wondering if you could give me any advice for how to be more flirty and forward with guys without being obvious or annoying. Thanks so much and sorry for the long message.

Please help me! This girl at my school had an illness that caused her to be out of school almost the entire year. Prior to her absence, we were friends, but I didn't really like her. Now, she is better and wants to catch up and hang out. I don't really know what to do because on one hand, I feel really bad, since before her illness, she only had a few friends, including me. But, I don't want to start a relationship that I'm stuck in! Please help me do the right thing. I really don't want to hurt her feelings, but I feel obligated to be her friend. Thanks!

I say give her a chance. Dont go all out with like sleepovers etc. But maybe try a lunch together at school and see if you get along. You may find you like her and become good friends. Good luck! xoxo kerra
