I have two boys that like me but I don't like either of them. One tries to flatter me with saying my hair looks bad then the next moment he is sitting next to me saying I'm pretty! The other one talks to me on Facebook and begs me to be his girlfriend. I'm in 7th grade and I don't want a boyfriend but he keeps pushing. What should I do?

Hey girl! This is a sticky situation. But it’s good that you know exactly how you feel, so at least you’re not trying to decide between the two boys. Yikes! Boys sometimes have ridiculous ways of showing that they like you. One moment Boy #1 is picking on you and the next he’s flattering you, while Boy #2 is practically down on his knees begging for you to be his girlfriend! I can understand why that’s just way too much to handle.

The best thing to do is let these boys know your feelings ASAP. Imagine if you liked a guy who didn’t like you back. They’ll probably be disappointed, but at least you were honest. No matter if Boy #1 is making jokes or flattering you, do your best to ignore him. As long as you respond to what he says, you’re only adding fuel to the fire. If you hold your ground and ignore him, he’ll probably get the picture. As for Boy #2, the next time he sends you a desperate plea to be his GF, tell him that you’re just not interested in having a BF right now.

Plus there’s good news: you have a summer free of these boys to look forward to. Since you won’t be seeing them at school anymore, you probably won’t have to worry too much about them bugging you.

okay so i need some advice. I like this guy. He went to my school which got out last week. A lot of girls like him and think he's hot and stuff and he doesn't hang out with anybody that I'm friends with. He just cut his hair and it looks really good and now even more girls like him or think he's cute or whatever. I've like him all year since the beginning of school and I never really did anything about it. He had two girlfriends during the year and they both were nothing like me. At the beginning of the year he told his friends and stuff that he thought i was hot and really pretty. I don't know if i should text him or just do nothing cuz i don't think he likes me. Okay so i have a guy a like.
I got his number from my cousin ( since they go to church together). I know i him from their church too, since i go there sometimes. I texted him and got no response, it been 3 days. So yesterday i asked her to text him too and she got no response either, What does this mean? Since he didn't reply to your cousin either, I'm not sure this means you creeped him out. Maybe something is wrong with his phone. Maybe he doesn't get texts. Maybe he just doesn't like texting! Whatever it is, don't be too bummed out. Try talking to him next time you're at church and getting to know him in person. After some time passes and you grow closer to him, you can try texting again. Just take it slow so you don't come on too strong - and take it one day at a time!

I was texting my guy friend one day and suddenly he asked me out. I'm only 11, and I know that's too young to have a BF and I don't want one yet. I said no, but I didn't say it very nice. Now he always complains to me about how I broke his heart and then he says "But you probably couldn't care less about what I just said." He's annoying me and making me feel so bad, I don't even feel like talking to him anymore. Whenever I try to tell him I don't want to hear it, he just keeps complaining. Is there anyway I can get him to back off?

Hey girl, well first of all girls mature much quicker than boys, so the fact that you know you're not ready and he's making you feel bad, points for you! That's very strong of you to know exactly what you want. I think you should just give him some space to cool off. And if he keeps coming to you and saying these things, you should tell him very politely, that you're not ready for a BF and that's that. You appreciate him asking you, but you would appreciate it if he would stop bugging you about the fact you said no because its not very nice. - No worries, you got it girl!

Ok so over this past baseball season, like this one guy I kinda liked during- which I have gotten over- I have a crush on. v.v (I know it sounds odd). But anyways, during baseball season, he never payed any attention to me. The only time was when he was complimenting my art because I was drawing while at a game (It was raining,had to go in the doug-out,and I was allowed cause' my dad coached the team.). He's the best one on the team and later in the season,season was over, he went onto Allstars, his last game was yesterday. But I'm always running into him (of course, he ignores me and talks to my dad.) But he isn't talkitive. And won't talk or look at me when we're around. He chats w/ my dad a little and goes on about his business. At the start of the season, I figured out that he lives a quater mile from my house. I'm scared to talk to him or go to his house last minute,because I don't know if he likes me AND I don't want him to think I'm little-miss-crushing-stalker.

So I kinda like this guy (lets call him A) and I was talking to his best friend (lets cal him B) yesterday. B asked me if I liked A, and isaid kind of. I asked B why and he told me he thinks that A liked me to. I'm not sure if A told B he liked me though. Do you think that this could mean anything coming from his best friend?

It could definitely mean something! It's tough to tell because it's not coming from A's mouth, but it's a good sign - it probably means you've been talked about and maybe A has mentioned something. But don't rest just on this - talk to A, get to know him better, flirt. If you like him, go for it and see where things go!

Hey megagirrl, did you make it clear to him that you felt the same way? Maybe he backed off because he was confused about how you were feeling. Give it some time and see if he texts you, or you can text him and see how it goes. Sometimes it takes being away from someone and not talking to them, to see how much you miss them. Hope this helps! Okay, so there's this guy that I (think) I like... I don't really know if I do or not! I've known him since 1st grade, and we've always been friends. I "went out" with him in like, 4th grade, then broke up with him in 5th. Now I'm in 10th grade and I'm pretty sure I like him again. He's super duper sweet, funny, cute, and he shares the same interests as I do! But one time, my friend asked me to ask him who he likes, and he said three girls; but none of them were me. :/ I try not to act all disappointed and all, but I can't help it some times. He always acts like he likes me though! He always jokes around and is really sweet, and sometimes invites me over to his house! I'm just really confused. I'm pretty sure he only likes those girls because of how "hot" they are; not because of their personality! Hey chicky, sounds like you need to make sure ya move out of the friend zone with this guy. Try asking him to do something that would be more like a real date, instead of just going over to his house. Ask him to go to the movies or out to dinner, and make it clear that you wanna go as more than friends. If he makes an excuse not to, then he's probably not interested. But if he says yes, then he may just have been mentioning those other girls to get you jealous.

Okay, so I have been in Summer break for about 2 weeks now and at the beginning of the summer I told myself I wouldn't think about this boy at school. I was going to tell him I liked him on the last day but we are in middleschool and can't really K.I.T. over the summer. Please help me! This girl at my school had an illness that caused her to be out of school almost the entire year. Prior to her absence, we were friends, but I didn't really like her. Now, she is better and wants to catch up and hang out. I don't really know what to do because on one hand, I feel really bad, since before her illness, she only had a few friends, including me. So I went to Private school from K-8th grade (I'll be a junior next year). My school goes up through 12th grade and I was hoping to be able to stay there but it was so expensive so I had to go to public school. Well my sister will be an 8th grader next year so after 8th grade she should be switching to public school, but the problem is my parents don't like the public school I go to and want to keep my sister in private school. I am really upset about this because although I was bullied there, I loved the school and wished that I had the option to stay there through 12th grade. I texted him yesterday and he responded in less than a minute and we were talking and I told him about the surgery that I had had that morning.
