I had tried out for the school play of The Sound of Music and I got Marrietta. I had gone out at intermission to get something to eat when my boyfriend David grabbed me, then swung, and finally kissed me. What I didn't realize was that the whole cast and crew was standing right behind us. I saw a flash and a chorus of AWW. Turns out we were voted "Cutest Couple" and that pic ended up being the photo for our nomination. We won!!

Hey girl!  Those moments feel terrible!  The key is to keep it in perspective.  Sure, for a couple hours, you're going to cringe when you think about it, but afterwards, ask yourself: Who else remembers this?  You don't remember every embarrassing thing everyone else does, and they won't remember yours.  Just remember that a week later, people won't even think about it unless you bring it up.  A week might feel like an eternity, but I promise that everyone else in the room is cringing at their own embarrassing moments you can't even remember happening!

I'm 15 and I've never had a boyfriend. All my friends have and I know that it's not a race but I feel very insecure. I have a lot of friends so I know I'm not that weird. I play volleyball, I had a 4.0, I'm really nice. A lot of people compliment me on my eyes or that I'm pretty and really smart. So why are guys uninterested in me? I just want someone to like me. I know I'm still pretty young but I just don't understand. If I'm as nice as everyone says I am then why don't guys give me a second look???

You're right to know that you're still young and that it's not a race! Guys might be intimidated by you if you're smart! You could try talking to guys first if you really want to hang out with them more, or you could wait until they're a bit more mature and can see how awesome you are.

okay so i have a crush on this guy ive known for about 6 months.. when we first met at work we talked a little, then he had to take off for a while. well a couple months ago he started working a lot more and we like reconnected you could say. So we started talking more, to the point that when were both there its like we just automatically start talking. He even got my number (from an unknown source)and started texting me. Which is where my question comes in. When he texts me its like the conversation is flat and boring with like one word replys. But when were at work hes smiles and me and goes out of his way to talk to me. Why is it so different talking at work in person, and texting separate??

Texting is never as fun as a real life convo. If you wont to make your conversations more interesting, try asking a question that can't be answered in one word. Or, suggest you guys hang out sometime outside of work-- you definitely have enough to talk about!

Well my BGF asked me out a few weeks ago and i decided that i'd give him a chance. He's a really sweet guy but i decided that maybe we should just stay friends. So i told him that, and i was trying to do it nicely because i do care about him. But then we got in a big fight about it and he said that i broke his heart. i've been trying to make him feel better about it since i didn't want to hurt him. But now things just are really messed up like our friendship and stuff. This is my first time breaking up with someone and its hard! i feel like such a bad person now!




Hey girl, breakups are always hard, no matter which side of them you're on. Hopefully your bgf will forgive and forget, but until then, you may just have to give him some space. It's good that you didn't let the relationship go on for too long before you broke it off, so he shouldn't have had time to get too attached. He's just hurting right now. So make it clear that you would still like to be friends, that you never meant to hurt him, and that you just didn't wanna lead him on. And then drop it and let him heal for a little while. If he really cares about you, he'll at least still wanna be your friend and will come around after a bit.

So, I really like this guy. He's a grade younger than me, but I don't know if it really matters right now. I'm going into ninth grade. This guy, I'll call him Bob, is super nice. Although, it almost seems like he TOO NICE. I 'm not sure..he's really humble and he's a jock and he's really smart. Bob and I are really good friends, too. I don't know what to do. I think he likes me, too. I also don't know that for sure. I need serious help here because we see each other all the time. Also, I think his brother might be trying to set us up... Okay so my friend has a crush on a guy and he is my best friend and she goes rubbing it in my face saying "oh well me and him (her crush) are like BEST FRIENDS" and always blabs to him every single day in class then a couple times hes said to me " Oh my gosh she is so annoying she like screams in my ear and won't leave me alone!" then I said "i know" and stopped talking and he says something like that every day and i don't know if i should tell her like if i would tell her she would probly tell him that and then my and him won't be friends but if she told her then she could try to act less like that around him IDK what to do help me!!!! 'my friends gave my crush a letter I wrote him today and i'm SUPER nervous about what will happen tomorrow! And I have two questions...
1) If he tells me likes me back and doesnt say anything after that, what do I say?
( Saying 'cool' would be weird and giving him a hug would be over the top and wouldnt it be up to him to ask me out somewhere? But he's a really shy guy though...)
2) What do I do/say if he tells me he doesnt feel the same way? Frown

Hey girl, if he likes you back, then there's no reason you can't make the next move, especially if he's shy. Just ask him if he'd like to go somewhere with you, like the pool or the movies. You shouldn't have to worry about rejection then because he already said he likes you. Smile And if he doesn't feel the same way, then at least ya tried, and you can still be friends. Make sure he knows that you're okay with just being friends so that he doesn't feel awkward around you.
