Paper Lantern
These paper lanterns are quick crafts that can easily spice up any room for a 4th of July party. You just need scissors and paper for a basic lantern, and then you can decorate it to your stylin’ desires!
Wreath
This patriotic wreath will show your pride for your country in a simple and sweet way. Plus, it’s super easy to make! Just wrap colored yarn around a Styrofoam or straw wreath and add star cutouts.
Patch Pocket Shorts
Adding a little sizzle to your favorite shorts is super easy, but we particularly dig this Fourth of July take. Grab a worn out pair and some festive fabric and start stitching. Simply trace the shape of the pocket on your fabric and get sewin’, sweetie. Not stich happy? Grab fabric paint, instead.
Tin Can Windsocks
Festive windsocks are fun to make and they’re the perfect decoration for outside – especially when the wind blows them straight out like Old Glory. All you need are a few cans, paint, streamers and twine.

POSTED IN fourth of july, 4th of July fun, crafts, sewing, diy, room decor, party
I LOVE these ideas! Especially the shorts! They all seem pretty easy. My friends birthday is on the fourth of July so her party always includes stuff like this! If you love books, are looking for a new book to read, or have a book to recommend, join my Book Recommendation Club! Thanks!

One time we couldnt have fireworks for the fourth cause of fires. Instead they did them in october and we could hear them but not see them! We were at a Halloween party too!

I made stars and stripes shirts with fabric paint yesterday, except I decorated the front, not the back pockets.
