Looking for a patriotic
playlist to listen to while grilling out this July 4? While there are plenty of
great songs about our country, we’ve rounded up some of the best to blast on
Independence Day. So sip on some lemonade, munch in to

We just love how the country
singer belts out this tune, and though the lyrics talk about freedom from an
abusive relationship, we can sure sing along celebrating our own independence
from whatever is holding us back.
“Born in the USA” – Bruce Springsteen
The “Boss” sings about being
a Vietnam vet and the struggles he faced during and after the war. But the
catchy chorus still shows us, regardless of everything, being born in the USA
is enough to make you love the country.

A classic for sure, we love
how this tune reminds us to be grateful for our country and “swear allegiance
to a land that’s free!”
“R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.” – John Mellencamp
The repetitive beat and
rockin’ attitude of this song makes it perf for listening to at a 4th
of July party!
“America” – Neil Diamond
Who doesn’t love some Neil
Diamond? This song talks about how America is known for its freedom, which is
everyone’s dream.
“God Bless the USA” – Lee Greenwood
This is a powerful song with
a pretty guitar melody. It will totally make you proud to be an American.
“America, the Beautiful” – Ray Charles, Alicia Keys
We love this version of a
classic about brotherhood, freedom and the pure beauty of our country.
“Star-Spangled Banner” – Whitney Houston
It’s hard to listen to this
song and not put your hand over your heart and salute our flag. Wave those
banners in pride, girlies!
“American Boy” – Estelle feat. Kanye West
Estelle talks about New
York, LA, Chicago and California—all popular and amazing places in the USA!
